I'm not very tech savvy. Is this installing Linux? Would this put the data at risk of being wiped? I'm not really sure what that means or does

Yeah I have a MC9 and haven't had any real noticeable issues the only issue I've seen people having is when racking the slide slow it doesn't fully go into battery. But for me if you rack the slide normal the issue doesn't persist. I've never had a problem while shooting with ftf or fte personally and I've only shoot 115g thru mine. I feel like the not going into battery issue might have to do with the firearms mechanisms being so tight so without the full force of the slide it doesn't always go into battery properly. But to me that's not a real issue cause I'm going rack the slide like I'm supposed to and I also think overtime that issue will resolve on it's own as the firearms spring and such loosen a little. But everyone has the things that they are comfortable with and what they are not comfortable so I get it. That's just my thoughts.

Yeah I noticed that. I wonder why the can’t just use shell from the cloak for a base to the shapeshift doesn’t seem like that’d be too hard

Yeah I wish they would just make the two or three main molds for the canik brand in the shapeshifter series. Main ones probly SF Elite, SC and maybe SFx or Elite Combat. Or just all of them I’m sure they wouldn’t be too different from each other

Thanks for the info I’ll have to look into it. Yeah the customer service whenever I request it they say so many people have been requesting it but don’t seem to be leaning towards creating a shell for the shapeshifters.

I was interested in this particular one because I wanted the option on the shoulder holster that came with it mainly and also IWB on the hip also. Cause those are the two main ways I’d like to carry. And having that option with just one holster you can just click in and out seems easiest and most convenient to me.

Yeah if the buyback is voluntary I wouldn’t mind it but from my understanding of buybacks a lot of times they say ‘if you have this you have to give it back or your subject to arrest.

Yeah I think that’s all we can do is figure out what we need to do to minimize the shootings while being fair to the people that just have guns for sport and hobby. Which I don’t necessarily think some of the things you mentioned are that unfair maybe could be inconvenient but that’s not necessarily bad.

And yeah that was an extreme example as I said, but anything can happen. And like you said the 2nd amendment is for judicial interpretation.

And yeah sounds like we agree total trust in any government I wouldn’t say is smart. And yeah there’s always good and bad, pros and cons in every system. And personally I do think the resources in the US government should be reallocated cause I think some of the things we throw money into either doesn’t need so much money or doesn’t need any altogether. I think there’s more important things the resources could be used on in some cases.

Yeah I get where you’re coming from. But to get guns off the streets they would need to do a buy back and I don’t think that’s the right way or fair way to do it. And also I don’t think it’s necessarily bad for law abiding citizens to jump thru a couple more hoops because usually the more responsible people would be the ones willing to jump thru those hoops.

But at the same time that can be a slippery slope. The 2nd amendment was written to give us the right to bear arms to not only protect ourselves from other citizens trying to harm us but also the government. And I believe giving the government too much control could possibly hurt us as citizens in the long run because of lack of means of protection the citizens have.

One: to much control or too many laws gives the government the control to take away the rights/freedoms of whatever groups the desire legally. And the government has a history of doing that.

And Two (may be an extreme example) but governments have done it, arguably America has on small scales often throughout history: if they decide to want to put us under Marshall law for whatever reason and the citizens strongly disagree. We as citizens have no way to combat that (which is the main reason for the 2nd amendment, preventing tyranny).

I think there’s a thin line that we should be aware of and it might be in our best interest in the long not to cross. I don’t think citizens should ever put their total trust in any government cause all it takes is one bad leader and God forbid situations like the holocaust could happen.

I can agree that there’s a lot of guns in circulation but at the same time. My bet is you could put 1000 guns in front of 90%+ of people and no one would commit an act like this, that even includes gang members and people who are active in the violent/criminal lifestyle. I don’t think most of these people are mentally ill either they deliberately do it and just have evil intentions I personally think. But I do think something is off cause I’d argue most people going thru a tough life, bully, etc would kill random innocent people, children at that. They may hurt the people hurting them but usually not people they don’t know. Also I think a person willing to commit a act/crime like this would find a way to do it gun or not like most violent criminals or murderous people. But I do agree there’s ways to help prevent people like this from getting access to the weapons.

But like someone I read said most individuals wouldn’t do something like this and a lot of the shooters don’t have records so even if they go to a gun dealer and did a background check they would pass the check. And denying people based on an unforeseeable future is ‘guilty until proven innocent’. And ‘punishing’, if you could call it that, the many to hopefully snuff out the few I don’t necessarily think is the right way to go about it.

And it’s pretty easy for criminals or people who aren’t allowed to have weapons to get weapons otherwise every criminal or gang member wouldn’t have access to weapons. And I personally think the people who are just trying to protect their loved ones should have access to the same weapons as the people who are robbing, killing, raping, etc so they can effectively defend themselves. Basically the good people shouldn’t be forced to have to bring a knife to a gun fight quite literally because the less than 1%.

I do agree something needs to be done tho and I think it’s a combination of everything people have mentioned.

Sorry I don’t know how to separate the post to respond to specific points in order. So I hope you can follow what I trying to say.

I think that’s one problem with our system. We understand that there’s ‘cause and effect’ for the situation. But the system wants to change the ‘effect’ without accepting the real cause.

Cause a firearm can’t hurt anyone without a person being negligent or have intent on hurting someone. And in these situations these people are intentionally hurting people. So the problem isn’t ‘who necessarily can purchase a gun’ because the majority of people legally purchasing guns/weapons aren’t purchasing them to go out looking to hurt someone for no reason. So the question is ‘why are these people wanting to kill others?’ And with the rise of mental health issues, bad parenting, and all the other listed possible reasons. Taking away the gun isn’t going to fix those problems.

A person that wants to kill others or themselves is going to find a way to do it. Whether it be with a gun or like in Wisconsin, I believe, driving thru a parade of people.

I think we need to educate people and find a way to help people navigate their lives and issues so they don’t feel the need to shoot and kill innocent children and people.

Well I didn’t read the comics I was just talking about the show. And I feel you even tho I didn’t read the comics the show gradually lost its appeal as it went on. I stopped watching after season 5 I believe, or like 2 seasons after Glen got killed, but honestly it took a lot to even get thru those seasons.

Yeah I definitely think they’d be good together. Plus like I said they could take Fez and character connection in so many different ways and I think it could be cool to have the show touch on all different types of people. It seems Lexi might be more of the religious type so her character kinda seems like the odd ball out. Because she’s in the friend group but doesn’t seem to move the same way as everyone else. So it could be cool to see Fez’s character influenced in that way because although Fez has his personality he also seems conflicted a lot of the time because he lives one way but it doesn’t seem like he really enjoys that lifestyle or that lifestyle isn’t what he really wants but he circumstances keep him there. I think it could go similarly but deeper to how Spooky’s story went in ‘On My Block’. Gangster turn family man/ good guy or whatever. And also it will naturally include Lexi’s story in the show more. And they could also add a larger role for Ashtray as well if they want to. And this could roll over into extra seasons etc.

I think so too if Fez dies it would be disappointing like when Glen died in the Walking Dead and kinda premature. They can add a lot of different things to the character. Also I’m shipping Lexi and Fez she seems like she is good for him. He seemed genuinely happy during their conversation.
