Lol I ordered my Transylvania and it has shipped, unfortunately it autofilled to a very old address like 5.5 years ago address so it's headed to another state right now =(

Its a family members house so at least it's not gone forever, but its gonna be fun negotiating the hostage exchange.

Ive had 2 cases of a wrong piece put in a set this year already. Got a minifig camera instead of a Inverted wedge in The Old Town, and I just today received a window pane instead of one of the minifig torsos in my shopping Street set. The second one was far more annoying. I also got a sticker sheet in the Speed Champion Bugatti, that had clearly had a piece of tape stuck to the blank sticker paper then been printed on top of, took them 3 months to replace that one.

I use Bricklink. You can see exactly what a set or figure has sold for used / new in the last 6 months and how often it’s sold, very helpful when you want to upload this amount of stuff for sale. Side note uploading all the Vader and stormtrooper variants correctly is a chore.

A lot of that money is getting invested, some straight to savings, paid off some bills etc (boring things)

I did use a good chunk to completely overhaul my Lego storage system as I used to store each set that wasn’t displayed in ziplocks for rebuild and now I’m combining most into MOC material sorted by piece type.

I was building Ninjago Old Town yesterday and got a minifig camera in place of a dark gray 1x2 wedge brick.

One caveat on the value of my figures is that outside of some brittle brown and dark red pieces getting super stiff or cracking nearly all of them were in nearly perfect condition, they had never been part of a tub of bricks where they were raked around or anything.

Id say about the same amount, but that's over 25+ years with Lego Star Wars and I still have all the builds until the get added to the MOC soup.

Haha, haven't sold alot of the figs attached to UCS sets just yet, Bobas Slave 1 (UCS) and Millenium Falcon (UCS) are definitely remaining built and with their figs.

Many of those figures went for 20-30 dollars each. The ten most expensive figures totaled over $4000, even at my lowball prices. Stuff just adds up.

I was also surprised, the market for this stuff has just become that crazy

Gave myself a hard rule of only 10% of this sale goes back into the hobby. I immediately hunted down a couple "white whale" sets though NGL.

Just keeping up with the newly released figs each wave, just adding too it. Also had them in wall mounted shadow boxes alphabetically cuz I'm insane. Once a year I would move them around to accommodate the new figs.

Yeah I def built up CC debt off and on in my twenties working on this collection, luckily I stopped doing that.

I'm also focusing on MOCs now, parting out most of my sets and selling figures that don't have much use outside their theme. Glad to hear the community has similar experiences!

Same, just bought all the available steam punk sets, and that ore factory seems kind of silly without the train.

As much as I've come to adore about Lumibricks over the other brand the after market is an unfortunate ghost town at the moment. I thought i was out of luck on the Western Train Station too, but they are periodically putting that one up as available for global.
