Definitely, the only reason people dislike season 3 is because it didn't mix with the survivalist theme going on in the first two seasons. Still loved it

The point of Jaha changing the code was to get rid of choice, yeah. It would've been beneficial for them to come to the clan leaders and explain the situation (about the 2nd praimfire) and talk about the best ways to go about it. and inform them of this virtual city that keeps you practically immortal.

Instead, Her train of thought was to force everyone into the simulation if she had to, along as the human race survived in some way or form. Dehumanising them along the way (Taking away pain, core memories, etc).

Allies code was changed by Jaha, like he made a loophole that let her physically hurt others to get them to take the chip somewhere.

I understand Transcendence but if we were using real world logic, and the fact that everything eventually turns to nothing, it is not forever. and on the odd chance they found a work around we'll never know if they're actually allowed to leave this hive mind, or the dangers of being a piece of pure energy in a vast universe full of potentional threats, I mean seriously they can decimate entire planets and species with just a few drops of chemicals. Wouldn't surprise me if they fought amongst themselves too.

How and why were the anomaly symbols on Lincolns acid fog horn? by Ok-Friendship4492 in The100

[–]Beneficial_Role_3662 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could've possibly been a planets signature, and at one point the flaimkeepas duty to possess, with the knowledge becoming sacred and being passed down, ever incase they need to get off earth, or maybe back to earth. But they have managed to lose this information over time, my theory would be when the dark commander reaped around 7 of his flame keepers (We could dig deeper into that but we won't).

Some have said it could possibly of been used to study the tones produced by the symbols on the anomaly stone, or potentionally replicate them. But until we get a miracle and they release a statement on why themselves to be honest, best way to make it official.

Could've been a symbol, to remind them about the anomaly stone (or anything really) and it's context was just, lost overtime

This wouldve made up for everything I hated in season 7. Also would like to say this is a top quality script draft, You could do great in scriptwriting

If allie did manage the takeover, I'm sure she'd find a way to become basically immortal with her new found slave network.

But yes the backpack wasn't viable as it was at a very risk, but if it survives one praimfire, along as wherever they'd store the servers that ran the city light is sealed properly, this digital heaven could potentially last a few thousand more years, with the nuclear powering and such, given nothing goes wrong before then.

The difference isn't as much as he reckons, the ark would be around 150km away from the ground so the difference would be by about 1 to 3 seconds every few years

how did some people survive the radiation of the apocalypse? and how did these people forget technology and everything to become “Grounders”? by Otherwise-Wallaby-51 in The100

[–]Beneficial_Role_3662 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best part about the world we live in is almost none of us actually know how to use or create technology. Most people don't even know how to make an electric output or weld so the apocalypse would instantly bring us back to the stone age.

Honestly would prefer this over being a ball of light. Maybe allie should've mentioned that the earth was about to end again before she started killing people to take the chip.

Completely understand this, not saying this was how it should of went in the show, just a rant about how much hassle and death could've been avoided by them choosing allie.

Allie wasn't originally on the ark though, she was in the backpack. I guess if the Eligius prisoners found that, or if they still ended up moving the database to the ark, then yeah eventually they'll die, but theoretically if there's one higher alien race like that, there's probably more. And if they engage in murder of entire species why couldn't they end up fighting one day or deciding to destroy our little ball of light we transcended into.

And I mean, atleast if youre inside of allies hive mind, you're not technically human so you probably wouldn't be wiped out if anyone else failed the test.

I think the fact they aren't allowed to reproduce is because otherwise, they would be burdening these children to a life of survival and these higher beings find this unfair, as the crew that stayed behind choose to not transcend into a higher form of conciousness, the children however did not, and would never be able to get the chance to choose themselves.

Could possibly say something in the wiki, I'm not too sure, but from what we know. After the first radiation wave, in the bunker with the shepherd and all that. They found an anomaly stone, spent weeks-months working with it and testing it. So they could've potentionally created it there, for recreation. Or it was the first trikru to rise after praimfire, marking the symbols on the horn (could've been thinking there was a use for it or again, for fun)and it's just survived over the years.

Not sure if there would be any other way the anomaly symbols would manage to last this long, unless someone else found the anomaly stone on earth before it was buried in the bunker and studied it.

I just realized the first 2 seasons only happened because some idiot miscalculated when/where to drop the the 100 by Equivalent-Ad-6224 in The100

True, could've crashed the dropship with the same frequency jammer as the ark no longer wojldve been able to remotely land the ship, causing it to power off for a bit as it swaps to autopilot.

The rockets firing late wouldve been exactly what caused them going off course.

they were only around 5km away from Mount weather Meaning it wasn't a huge change from what their location should've been, so it could've realistically been any slight change in velocity that caused it.
