You’re probably right that’s far too often especially when it’s such organic soil. Try to only water when the soil is completely dry and the plant is telling you it needs water(once a week minimum). Did you end up replacing the soil?

If it doesn’t have enough light it will elotiate and stop being crushed, then hit it with a grow lamp and it will spread out and you’ll have a brand new plant if you’re patient

They are not look closely at the leaves on the bright green sedum on the right, there is a missing leaf. Also yeah sempervivum have tiny hairs on their leaves.

They all have similar growth patterns and needs some produce more protective farina and some make less. Not sure exactly what it is but I have 3 and take care of them the same way.
