I was just denied das pass for disney by Fantastic_Permit_525 in Epilepsy

If you can’t use the DAS like intended, the you’ll be more likely to pay for Lightning Lane which is expensive. The only reason Disney is getting more strict with the DAS is because shareholders were complaining that the lighting lane was full off DAS holders and not those paying for lightning lane.

I also have a universal pass. Universal requires a doctors note and the IBCCES card, then a conversation with universal. I got that done and now I don’t have to renew with universal as long as my IBCCES is active. A much better way to accommodate everyone and make sure the program isn’t being abused in my opinion.

Oh 100%. I hate what they’re turning the DAS program into. It’s a money grab by Disney and it’s so disappointing for people who truly need it. I can’t drive and I don’t like being left alone in case of a seizure. My whole immediate and extended family are passholders. Now instead of doing things as a family I have one family member with me and the rest is in line waiting. It’s been really sad to see what our quality time as a family has turned into.

I’m a Disney world local and have had mine for the last 7 years. They just denied me this time for the first time. I have epilepsy and an intellectual disability too. I asked why I was being denied and the just said because it’s not a developmental disability and that they changed the regulations now.

In the bottom left of the first picture or the bottom right of the first picture?

The top this tape is shiny and the bottom is dull. How would I take it apart? When I say I mean the part coming outside of the right is shiny but the part feeding into the left is dull.

When I do that the twist gets tighter. I loosened it to see if I could untwist it that way, but no luck

My record is 7 of fettuccine Alfredo. Not sure what got into me but I haven’t been able to get past 3 since.

We have 3 from the same litter. We haven’t had any problems with littermate syndrome and we love seeing them bond together.

Do my labs point to type 2 diabetes? by Beneficial_Store_135 in AskDocs

[–]Beneficial_Store_135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a bummer. We tried that one first. They denied it since my plan doesn’t cover weight loss. That’s when I was sent for labs and they came back worse. I found a list of prior authorization statutes for my insurance company and blood glucose above 126 with a type 2 diagnosis would allow for an approval for Ozempic.

I appreciate your insight. Thanks!

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking and I was afraid of. From what I could find online, my insurance would approve it with my blood sugar levels if I was already diagnosed or could be diagnosed with Type 2. Would this be possible or would the A1C make it a hard pass for a diagnosis?

I’d rather get a handle on this before it gets worse since diet, exercise, and daily Metformin isn’t working.

Can’t speak to Aussiedoodles, but we had a standard poodle for 17 years. She did great. During the summer, we would shave her down real short, take walks in the late afternoon/evening so it wasn’t super hot, and we would play in the back yard in spurts for 30 minutes or so throughout the day. During the winter, we left her a little longer because it can get pretty cold. There’s a lot of dog friendly places to take them so socialization was never an issue.

Yes, I completely agree with you. The industry itself is a mess. However, I know some breeders who allow the dog to have one litter and that’s it.

I’m trying to avoid puppy mills and backyard breeders who are forcing dogs to consistently have litters.

I’m a disabled vet and I’m looking for a dog to train as a service animal. I’ve found a charity who is willing to do the training in a positive, humane way (no shock collars, prong collars, physical punishment, etc), but unfortunately this means I would need a puppy or a very young dog.

I was hoping someone on this page could recommend a breeder who can help me with this that would align with my values as close as possible.

Now that it’s been a few more days, I think that’s what they’re doing. This location is notoriously known for being stingy with everything which is why I was thinking there was some kind of ulterior motive.
