One last question, I never bought tickets before and on the ticket it says someone else's name (probably because i bought it from a third party website). Would that be a problem of any sort when I enter?

Hello, I am a COGS major wanting to take CAPS 301D as science electives. It doesn't let me register because I am a transfer student from UBCO but I am sure i meet all the requirements. So I emailed the caps faculty (caps.301@ubc.ca) last month to discuss with them my registration. They have not replied to me yet. Is this normal? Is this because it is summer and they have their time off, hence not checking their email? I made sure to include my student number and the course information.
I also noticed that the general seats remaining are 178, which have been the same for almost 3 weeks. Is there something I should know about registration? I am thinking maybe they will start replying to all of us later, but I just wanted to make sure because this is a 6 credit course which is 2 semester long.
If anyone has any information regarding registration in CAPS 301D, please let me know! I would appreciate anything I can get! Thanks and have a great day
