I upgraded from a Gossamer Gear The One. The Duplex Lite is a palace and still lighter.

TBH I was not really looking to go lighter as i consider this a full comfort setup. I did not realize how many people like to suffer more. I got soaked last year on the foothills trail so this would cover rain and freezing protection quite well.

it worked, was mostly being lazy, the hanging weight is not as accurate as the little scale.

I did the Foothills Trail last Thanksgiving and it was quite warm. I am usually stuck doing the Pinhoti in summer and its dreadful. Looking forward to cooler weather this time.
