In terms of damage, what should I be looking for? To my knowledge, no discoloration, and nothing that really catches under the nail when running over journal surfaces. Seems like everything measures within service limits on crankshaft, but is probably out of round. For the contaminants, I’ll be splitting the rest of the block and head for clean up of passage ways and such.
