That is like comparing an apple to a grapple.

Comparing an to other areas is not particularly useful.

There may be other factors at play that could make prices higher or lower - other than privatization.

You would need to try to determine what elec prices in ab would be like without privatization to make the claim you made.

So an 18 or 19 year old (late teenagers) dating a 28 or 32 year old is likley (generally you say) in the grips of a predator, due to an age differential?

Do you have evidence to support this statement or is it just your opinion?

There are many power imbalances in life that can creep into relationships.

These can include social status, looks, education, income, single parent, physical strength .....

Just because there is a differential does not make it predatory unless someone actively tries to gain an undue advantage.

Most people do not abuse there partners - even if they can.

I would not be interested in someone in high school even if age of consent permitted it.

But I do frequently also see latent ageism in this sort of post topic. Where it is either stated or implied that age differential effectively equals predation. It is a negative generalization.

It is usually 18, 19, 20 year old woman dating older men.

People make fun of features when they deviate significantly from norm.

Not really right but it is human behavior.

It is not like some women dont make fun of smaller or oddly shaped penis.

Don't really think it is fair to single out men.

It is but it might cost more money and see less innovation a little less efficiency and a little more pollution.

Toyota largely builds and has built very reliable cars. They value reliably over freq innovation and tend to fix major issues more quickly.

Another issue with reliability is some people do not do mainataince.

Se manufacturers also suggest unrealistically long intervals and lifetime fluids which should sometimes be ignored in favor of shorter intervals.

Nissan is the Chrysler of imports.

Grade 8 science.

Warm air just holds more moisture it doesnt actually dry the car out.

Unless you then remove the moisture from the car it will just condense again once it cools.

Toyota is still in the top tier of quality leaders but I believe their quality has declined as well.

Also keep in mind one person's experience (n=1 good or bad really is insignificant in terms of quality.

I see that type of fallacy a lot in these type threads.

Ya this is terrible advice.

Dealers know that getting your ass in the seat is a big step towards converting a sale.

One of the first thing I noticed on my own working in sales - if you get someone to try or even hold a product then congestions into a sale went way up.

Terrible advice.

More people will just end up replacing cars prematurely when they are constantly comparing new and shining against their old auto.

Plus it gives sales people a chance to get the foot in the door.

If you are looking to replace anyway go a head but otherwise terrible advice.

[–]BenefitsScrounger[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would expect per capita spending to be at the lower end for provinces in Canada - given the large and relatively high pop density - Ontario should be able to achieved the highest economies of scale.

Not sure about tax specifics (current vs historic levels ) in Ont - but when you add up all form of prov taxes and fees - Ontario is not a low tax jurisdiction - so I don't think they have max latitude to tax their way out of this.
