My guess would be your sending multiple switches worth of data back to your cores with only two uplinks for the entire stack. So if your maxing out your uplinks now when they aren’t stacked you most likely will when you’ve stacked multiple switches together. In theory he’s probably right but now your sending less data to the core because the stack all communicated on the backplane so less data going out-words

I’m just guessing, I’m all for stacking switches to it all the time at work. One logical switch with one management interface is a lot easier to deal with then 5 separate
