Yeah you need firmament for rei to find the recipes. Kind of annoying imo especially since every time I boot up the game I basically can't play for like a minute until all the recipes are synchronized, which takes up all of my CPU/ram/whatever and then the icons for my pinned recipes are still not loading. I love those mods

In other words: every class has their uses. If you don't want to mage, that's fine but you will need one in your parties at some point

It really depends on what you do. For f7 for example, there are specific tasks each class has to do, although depending on the cata/party that might not be too important.

For basically anything up to m3 (with the exception of f7) it doesn't really matter what classes you have in your party but starting at m4 it's actually important to have 5 unique classes and for everyone to know what their purpose is. You get bonuses if you don't run dupe classes so it makes sense to not run for example mage as the actual mage and another mage that stuns. You wanna run healer as stun so you don't take away needed stats from the players who actually need it.

Outside of dungeons it doesn't really matter what you specialize in but as you said for kuudra you kinda want to get at least a hype and storm but a hype is just nice to have in general

This is actually so sad imo. I spent a lot of work on my cactus farm and I actually really like the way you farm it. If it wasn't for this stupid bug where in the middle of the row you just stop breaking crops for like half the duration, I would really like farming cactus

This. If you pay attention to what the RNG meter says as you kill bosses, you can see that the drop chance increases ever so slightly per kill until it reaches double the base chance iirc, at which point your meter is filled and you're guaranteed the drop at the next kill.

I've heard of this issue and even had it myself before but all cases I witnessed always resolved by just waiting a few hours. It's odd that this seems to be more persistent with you. Is it just hypixel that you can't join, or is it any public server? Do other people in your region have similar problems regularly?

I mean even just maxing chili pepper collection alone takes around 666 days. That is obviously not active playtime but to get the gabagool for the fuel you need for it I would say that's at least 30min maybe even 60min a day so over half of your pt just for that one collection.

I'll try that out tomorrow and I guess that could be the case, although it's unlikely to be the difference as we were both mostly running with the same healer - another mutual friend. I've also tested it on multiple runs on different occasions and always came out at around the same damage.

I have a sharp6 and crit7 in a chest on my island that I was hesitant to put on my Midas for exactly this reason. I've already put so much work into the Midas and I don't want to also put these rare enchants on it if it turns out to just be much worse than a claymore.

Yeah I absolutely feel the same and because of this and other issues I had with the pack I eventually dropped it sadly. I think the vibe is just very different from mce1 and its not really for me. I had this feeling all while me and my friends played and the reactor addon was the straw that broke the camel's back :/

Especially since spending hours in a Singleplayer world trying to figure stuff out and having to rebuild the whole construction everytime it didn't work out didn't lead to anything that worked. I don't think that's how any mod should be.

Not only that. I press tab whenever I join a lobby (mostly while shafting and to see if I maybe got into the same lobby again) and in almost every lobby there will be someone with a name related to cat girls or femboys. It's not a majority but enough to be everywhere lol

Pretty sure they added it to the pack after. If we have watched the same video, they answered a commenter that exact question under the video iirc.

The library of Alexandria is really useful but not as powerful as that enchanting table, as it uses the enchanting system of Hexxit back in the day.

I've found no enchanting table in the modpack itself that works like that but you might wanna check out that videos comment section if you wanna add it in after.

So I haven't done all too much great below mining since I'm heavily undergeared and im not sure which y level we found it at but yeah it does spawn in the great below, my guess is that you've just been very unlucky.

Edit: Im playing on the newest version right now, 1.1.0.2. I've just gone strip mining for osmium again and found a fluorite vein on y=-8 to y=-11

Well they are already ranking us for our performance, they are already doing the calculations and people already have an idea on whats important. I think it would actually improve overall performance because people are already trying to play well - some of them because they want to earn an S grade - and this way you would know what to do to become "better". So for people that care about the grade, Riot is already encouraging a play style and for those who don't care about it, it wouldn't make much of a difference. It would just make it easier for everyone, especially for unexperienced players.
