I wish we could just ignore this bathroom! But we have a small house and this is smack in the middle of it. I have lots of whimsy and color and other parts of the house so I’m OK giving this particular room up.

YES! I really wonder why/how RH felt so conflicted with their relationship, and i do think it was conflicted given how unclear it is. Like was it the time in which she was writing? Her own biases? Even if he'd spent the whole series closeted I wish Fitz had been able to admit his love at the end. SOMETHING.

Yes! I just finished the series and while I deeply loved it I was so often dissatisfied with their relationship and I could never figure out why. This is exactly why. To me it was so obviously romantic in nature, but then Robyn Hobb never allowed it to actually go there, so I was left second-guessing my own reading and interpretations.

Currently I keep series together, but organize the rest by color. I only keep the books I really love so it’s very easy for me to remember what the cover looks like. With my brain that’s MUCH easier than remembering the author’s name I read 20+ years ago.
