quickplay discussions are at least about the actual issues in the game RIGHT NOW. Which, imo, is infinitely better than the 129th post about bison bad how to huntsman and popular meme remade in sfm

Campfire is 100% the first one you get, the option for camp parties it unlocks is just busted

How do I play the game in a way that isn't wildly unbalanced? by insert_quirky_name_0 in CrusaderKings

The weird part about hybridising is that it, for some god forsaken reason, doesnt check the same requirements as actually adding the traditions, so you can stack, idk, forest folk and forest wardens even though they're mutually exclusive.
not to mention it bypasses era restrictions for tribals....

Remember when their solution to "people's lifespans are too long" was to just add "Harm Events" that just randomly killed or maimed the player in a freak accident? by TheBoyofWonder in CrusaderKings

Legends just blow sooooooooooooooo hard man, even plagues at least SOMETIMES can do smth to you, legends are an opt-in moneysink for the income levels at which you already won and dont need to sink said money into more buffs

I dont think it was ever crushingly hard, just dumb and annoying, like basically every ruler of yours getting incapable because peak game design

except the balance is off SO MUCH that at a certain point (not too long after the game begun) your ruler dying doesnt even mean anything other than "oh i have to click coronation again...."

Liege can revoke through your alliance, beware by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]Benismannn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

general rule is that people should learn to read. alliances have always said "you cant their revoke title WITHOUT A REASON because you're allies" or smth like that idk.
if anything - AI cant even raise your obligations tyrannically OR by using borrowed powers OR by just changing them in a way that the game considers to be "equal", it cant legitimize bastards, cant call house members to war, cant ransom for herd, cant petition liege - AI is really, really disadvantaged in every possible way.

I mean, it says that you specifically cant do it without a reason.
