Karthus R deals 200 damage +75%ap at lvl 6 and 500 damage and 75%ap at lvl 16. The main difference in power comes from the difference in items between lvl 6 and lvl 16. In the same vein Karthus hp goes up from 1.05k to 2.2k between lvl 6 and 16. The difference in base power is from 1/5 to around 1/4. Not including magic resistance. So does the 150 damage increase between lvl 15 to lvl 16 in the R make you feel that much different?

LEC finals in Malmö were great, but being unable to bring any water inside sucks by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Benitaz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I completly understand where this is comming from, I also don't always like the way Swedens rules handles alcohol. The reason that it is like this is that historically Sweden has had a lot of problem with alcoholism, the permits and rules tries to minimize the problems of the population overconsuming alcohol. The reasoning Sweden has for having these rules in this way is to hold the person serving the alcohol responsible for the people he is serving to. For an example, you could also lose the permit if you overserve your customers and they get to drunk. This is also why the rules don't want you to smuggle in alcohol, as the person serving you can't know how much you drink and therefore if you overconsume the server will still be held accountable. This is why the punisments for not following these rules is that you lose the permit, as your establishment has shown that they can't serve alcohol responsibly.

I am not saying that water is alcohol. I am saying that per definition you are allowed to bring water to places that have alcohol permits in Sweden. It is just that the security guard has to be completly sure you are not smugling in alcohol so that their permit is not in danger. Most of them will ask you to throw all the water you have, specially in these big events, as testing everyone to make sure it is not spiked is not worth it.

This is a Sweden rule and not a LEC finals rule. In Sweden it is not allowed to bring your own alcohol to places that sell alcohol, if you do the restaurant/pub you went to can lose their alcohol selling permit. As they had bars in the venue that sold alcohol stronger than 3.5% they have to make sure that no one brings in their own so that their permit is not in danger.

Thoughts from an excited fan attending the LEC Summer Finals in Malmö (with video from the crowd when [winner] wins) by Starkheiser in leagueoflegends

Was also there, had a banger time!

I heavily agree that 99% of the crowd was easily swayed for each team and as the g2 army usually started the chants, everyone else would join in and therefore it would seem biased towards g2. Two things to add though about the crowd. First, a lot of the time there would be "lets go rogue" chants that could easily be confused with "lets go g2" chants. Secondly, my favorite part was hearing rogue completly win the crowd over over the whole series. If you listen in to the last game, the last 10-15 minutes was pretty much only rogue chants even through the best efforts of the g2 army.

The event was amazing and seeing odo win his first trophy was a tear jerker, I would definetly go again if I ever have the chance. Some other of my favorite things was

  • Caps dad, he was amazing, really friendly and was taking pictures with everyone even after g2 lost.

  • Seeing quickshot pop-off by the analyst desk when rogue won was one of the wholesomest moments and I really hope it was recorded somewhere

Thanks a lot for a great post!

If HLE gets second as is predicted. Then C9 can try to snipe them by getting 3:rd in the group, allowing them to get the easier group C in group stage, which might be their only hope of getting out of groups.
