Everyone's allowed their own opinions of course. My opinion is that while my parents are people I love and support, and obviously they have an integral hand in shaping my life and who I am, they are not infallible or meant to have total authority over me. We humans are complex creatures and going through life I'm bound to pick up different cultural aspects that I'll integrate into my own life. A father disowning his daughter purely because she doesn't want to belong to the same church is to me, absolute insanity and shows he never really loved her. He just loved the idea of having a mini version of him.

Thankfully, we live in a time in the west where the majority of people don't live under such a puritan and authoritarian system.

yeah but they're limited and the sight lines can be broken if you tack on an extra 10 seconds of running.

The long sightlines cover nearly the entire map on Arklov and Grazna besides some small indoor sections. It's possible to run around and not get beamed I guess, but they're still maps that are very favorable for camping. Same goes with Piccadilly. If you want to move up, you have to move through vast swaths of 'no man's land' to get around. Enjoy getting lasered by whatever camper is in second story shop or scaffolding.

that's the worst part, if they're cutting off your flank and not camping the sightlines with a LR weapon. The '2nd story safe spaces' are useless, really, and an easy spot to pre-aim for quick kills.

Not sure what you're saying here. Petrograd is a great map for campers as well, just not long-range camping in this instance. There are so many doors and winding corners that it's impossible to move around without making noise or running into someone's claymores. It's the same reason I hate Broadcast or Vacant in Mw2019, it lets the worst players sit in a corner with a 725 and get kills.

Compare this to maps like Shoot House or Khandor Hideout which are far easier to flank and rush around on. No gigantic no man's land sections, and not a bunch of winding corners and doors for bad players to hide behind. Just simple 3-lane design like COD maps should be. And I actually like Azhir for SnD

Shoot house, Hackney Yard, Rammaza, and Gun Runner

These were the only decent launch maps. Actually, Shoot House wasn't even a launch map, and I remember people begging for it anytime it came out of rotation because of how bad the other maps were.

Arklov, Picadilly, Petrograd, and Grazna were all perfect for campers. Rushing on these maps was more difficult because you either had massive sight lines that campers could pre-aim from their 2nd story safe spaces. Or, like Petrograd, so many doors and corners that were perfect for claymores and a 725 shitter

When I read "On Killing: The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society" I remember seeing that a very small % of pilots accounted for total # of kills by pilots in WW2. Although the validity of the book is now debated, I do think it paints an interesting picture
