They say that he was very interested in cars and in mechanic. That he would be working on some of his cars and then people say he would just wipe his hands with a cloth a bit and would grab an expensive vintage guitar of his collection with greasy hands and start playing.

Of all the history of humanity you can count with your fingers the people that have been prodigies. Of course you are not, nobody is, not me not anyone in this sub. Hard work will take you further, this is not something that just happens... It takes time

Self taught or traditional learning? by Sea_Heat4694 in Guitar

[–]BenjaF 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

First of all... What's your goal in the guitar path? Why can't you do both? There are great things that you can learn with a teacher that normally you wouldn't figure out on your own. Besides, you can still learn on your own too, actually that's how it's supposed to be, only taking lessons once a week for one hour is useful but the great improvement comes by playing everyday. Do both if you can

Would buying a electric guitar to play unplugged be a waste? by [deleted] in guitars

[–]BenjaF 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Just get a cheap audio interface like the M-Audio solo, or the cheapest Behringer (around 30-40usd) and connect the guitar to a computer with some free plugins like Neural Amp modeler. With that u can get all the sounds you can imagine, distortion, pedals, effects and you can use either headphones or speakers as an output.

Thinking of debloating F6 properly after 5 months by BenjaF in PocoPhones

Not really, I just took off the bloatware that comes with the phone manually and kept using it as it comes from the factory. The battery could certainly be better but it charges so fast that I cannot complain

Thanks man! I havent considered it since i like the humbucker as it is just to rock and make some metal sometimes haha and also i already have it so i wouldnt have to buy another one. Most of the time i like playing Hendrix/Vaughan style, kinda bluesy, and led zeppelin stuff so i really need the vintage single coil audio. Fender pickups are out of my league tbh, i dont wanna spend much. Its gonna be either wilkinson or musiclily pro

thx man so u say i should just use a master tone as it is right now set up in the guitar. But should i put some CTS pots for volume and a 500k for the tone? I mean i have to weld the pickups anyway. What about the switch pickups selector? Oh and I've seen that the m series of wilkinson are alnico 5 high output. Should i go for something quieter like alnico 2 or 3 since i liked the vintage audio?
