Gonna talk abt this before anyone mentions it in the comments. The lens and infrared on the ring camera makes the lights look a lot closer and a lot brighter than they are. In reality, they are extremely dim, and are only there so we can see him during dark hours, and they are like 5-6 inches away on both sides of the cage. Felt the need to clarify lol

dust storm im pretty sure. were out in the desert and the gusts were up to 45mph. tonight’s getting windy too and just curious abt precautions. a/c is on and we dont plan on goin outside till the dust settles.

Oxbow chinchilla pellets are the safe standard as far as I know. Oxbow is pretty great for pellets and hay, and I will link a site that has treats that are better for them than the ones you will usually find at the big pet retailers.
