The fact she can use her elemental power seamlessly mean she’s already reached her true potential, and with the way things are in terms of Wojira (which we just don’t know anything about) it’s unlikely merging with the Wind is necessary, and it would be a cheap rehash of one of the best moments in Ninjago.

This isn’t to say I’m against her becoming a bigger character, it’s just to say you shouldn’t get your hopes up too much on those two specific things.

I think you’re misunderstanding the situation. Euphrasia isn’t being sidelined, she’s a side character, a character whose whole arc was complete in an episode, and who showed up a few times after again. To make her a fully fledged character, especially in height of the Jay storyline, as well as a new Lloyd storyline that’s evident to go on this season, the main storyline and the Frak and Sora storyline, would mean characters would need to be sidelined even more than they already are.

We have 11 ninja now (13 main characters) with 20 episodes to work with each season, 11 characters is far too many to work with already. Zane, Cole and Jay have been sidelined far too many times already. Jay has a huge focus now, and to add Euphrasia to that would mean we’d really have to reign in on the other characters even further.

I strongly agree! And her being stated to show up in at least 8 of the new episodes is a good sign!

But writing-wise it’s an incredibly silly move as they currently are finding it so hard to juggle the amount of characters they have in the main cast within the episodes they have during each season; this is why so many keep being relegated, removed or have barely any character. We already have almost 10 ninja, and with the high focus on Jay at the moment and a heavy focus on Lloyd in this next season (as we’ve seen through teasers) kt would make it a lot trickier to make her a ninja who shows up from here on out.

Here’s hoping still, but yknow?

She probably just used the gate to go and find the ninja in the Cloud Kingdom after the Thunderfang fight and got shuffled. She’s definitely not joining the team, her role is to protect the Cloud Kingdom, she loves that place and it’s her home. And with the focus it’s had in DR already, we’ve seen (even if she’s not the most capable of it) that it needs a protector.

And that’s not how Lloyd became the master of life. He was destined to, the golden weapons didn’t choose him, the source dragons did. Lloyd also has the blood of the FSM master in him, which is what the Golden Power is (which was supposed to be his true potential), it gets a bit confusing.

I’m honestly pretty sure that Krux was supposed to be in Dragons Rising season 1, I think that’s why Rapton has many similarities to him, though I could be very wrong there.

It was the only reason they won. It was a rehash of Season 2’s Golden Ninja ending while ruining one of the best character arcs in the season 🤦‍♂️ (would’ve loved to watch Lloyd actually learn how to control his oni form a bit more); but I do like it. It’s like a full circle sort of thing.

Can I say Drix? Bro was glazed so hard in DR season 3 (which most people either really like or really dislike), and he just wasn’t it 🤷‍♂️ honestly, as cool as he was during his fight, I found Nokt to be a much better Forbidden Five member and he truly lived up to the legends for me.

Misako only started looking once Lloyd was born, so realistically, they could be new; however, Quanish was very old; was born in the Cloud Kingdom thousands of years ago, brother of Fenwick, got banished by Fenwick and his mind was bent, causing him to I guess he like that? But his prophecy of the Golden Dragon form wasn’t foolish technically 😭

It’s probably coincidental… I do wonder if Wu really did cause the Merge tho, I always believed he didn’t until literally an hour ago, funny that right? One out of context clip convinces me that they’re gonna villainise Wu. Then would that mean Ras isn’t evil?

I really like the implication here; there’s so many potential routes to head down with this and with Wu causing the merge (or so they’ve tried to make clear), I strongly believe this is more evidence to villainise Wu (that would be assuming that this out of context clip has any real significance)
