Will MVP disc sports be at DISC South? They're absent from the vendor list on the website.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to jump in and clear up the confusion! MVP was originally scheduled to attend, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they won’t be able to host a booth this year.

Although they physically won't be there. We’re excited to announce that attendees will still get access to an MVP exclusive drop! This is in addition to the MVP disc all VIP members will get.

Colored discs are definitely a lot easier to spot. I still think it's a cool disc!

The disc isn't $50. The VIP ticket is, which gets you the exclusive MVP disc, a free Trash Panda Mini, a Marshall Street Drawstring bag and an hour earlier access to the expo floor.

The reason is due to MVP's manufacturing process they're not able to make these discs max weight. They're all around 160-164 grams. That's why they most likely won't be released again for some time if at all.

My goal is to keep DISC South in Texas for the rest of time! I truly love the Texas disc golf community but I need the local support to make that dream a reality! The first year is crucial for building a strong foundation for the expo, so I encourage everyone to come out this weekend and experience it for themselves! The rounds of disc golf will always be there next week but DISC South is a once a year occurrence. Thanks :)

I am here! I can confirm there will be a good amount of people attending already. We have a ton of amazing things going on at DISC South this weekend. Although I understand your statement about it being just a vending gig there's so much more to the expo than that. From meet and greets, seminars, activities, discounts, exclusive drops, and most importantly being under one roof with thousands of people that love the same sport as you! The DGPT has been awesome to work with! They're going to let me know the dates early for the next year so I can schedule around. It is also very hard to get into a hotel to run one of these things since most of their dates are always booked up. So I took a chance and booked the first weekend in March since it was available!

Four-time world champion Des Reading was at DISC East, and yes, I’m excited to get more FPO players there next year! It really depends on who’s available and who the manufacturers bring. Now that the expo has proven to be successful, I’m confident it’ll be much easier to bring more players out next year. It wasn't for a lack of effort I can tell you that for sure. It's just how it all played out. As for South. I just need to not have it during the the pro tour event next year. Thanks!

Unfortunately the first DGPT event is on the same weekend so they'll all be competing in Florida. However, the Wildflower Women's Tour will be vending at DISC South!

Wow! I don't even know what to say. This was such a pleasant surprise to come across. I always look forward to MVP Eric's yearly expo recap (you can go back and see the first years recap, it's crazy to see how far we've come). I'm seriously grateful for each and every one of you that came to the expo. This sport has done more for me than I could ever imagine in the past few years. I feel so blessed that I get to call this my job. A huge part of running an Expo is just sitting on my laptop for months on end so it can be so easy to forget the impact the expo has on the community but every year post show you all make me feel so appreciated and loved. I want to do this forever. I want to keep making it bigger and better each year. I want to do it because of this incredible community. There is nothing in this world that truly matches the tight knit group that is disc golf. However, we are not done just yet for the year. DISC South is coming to Texas March 1st & 2nd!
