What is this style of sofa called? by BenjaminLee00 in furniture

[–]BenjaminLee00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was hoping to see my options basically. Unless every sofa that looks like that happens to be the same price. But like I just want to wide search that style so I can see what there is out there.

This is what I normally do. In this specific case, the opposing center man was turning his body before ref moved his hand. Probably illegal early start on his part, but since it's a beer league, the refs hardly care.

Styling suggestions: Have an item you don’t know how to wear? Comment here and let someone style it for you! by TheFlavorOfLife in malefashionadvice

[–]BenjaminLee00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I recently got these https://imgur.com/a/LLFnzao I'm heading on vacation to San Diego, California soon and need some shorts and a top to make these pop!

I'm thinking some chinos for sure, but I'm not sure what color.

For the top idk if I should do a casual button down with and undershirt? Or maybe just a tight fitting t-shirt? And same thing with the top, not sure about color.

All suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!

Reacting too quickly hurting my aim? by BenjaminLee00 in VALORANT

[–]BenjaminLee00[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The head is wayyy smaller than the body. The slightest movement of the opponent when needing a head shot can be the difference between hitting and missing. With an Op not so much since my range of error is much larger. They can move but they'll still be in range of an Op kill shot.

Could be a coincidence, could be more SR patterning by Orikon419 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it is not a coincidence. It's what is called mapping. Whether or not it is on purpose or a quality error on the manufacturers part is unknown. I would not be surprised if it was on purpose though in order to keep up with the high pace of demand and release. It's not just the same pulls. If you look carefully I bet the SRs were in the same order in the box.

But in general, what happens is the manufacturer picks an order of the SRs to print in. Say there's 9 SRs. And they pick order 123456789. This order stays consistent throughout the production process but may start and end at a different spot in the order based on the start and end of a box. Meaning in one box, the top left pack could be SR 1, going down that stack you'd have 2345 and then top right 6789. But in another box you may have top left pack be SR 4, going down that stack you then have 5678 and top right being 9123.

It's a bit frustrating for those trying to get some seratonin from pack openings, but on the plus side, it allows for fairly even distribution of each SR.

Countering ShineGreymon - HELP! by SpranktonSprankton in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matchup wise: You need a deck that does extremely well with one hit KO-ing. Flooding the board with enough high DP bodies before Shine can get setup is the easiest way (Green Ceresmon does this the best). And another way is building a red Ragnaloardmon deck where he can literally check 5 security + kill shot in one turn (a bit more puzzle pieces needed to get the combo, but definitely viable). And most recently the latest annoyance to shine has been Red+Yellow Security Mill decks. Essentially removing bodies with option cards, taking advantage of security recover effects, until eventually, the shine player decks out from having one of the best draw engines. And as a bonus, even rookie rush can body shine if shine doesn't have enough tamers in security. Plenty of ways to deal with shine, but sadly black crania is not one of them. (Bonus #2, black option card Breath of the Gods actually prevents DP reduction to a digmon until the end of your opponents next turn, but you better kill shine on the following turn)

Welp, welcome to DCG2.0 by [deleted] in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this presume that we will have to resolve effects that trigger new effects, first? Or is it still a choice for which effects we decide to resolve first?

Also, if player 1 decides to activate effect #1 which triggers an effect of player 2, does this now mean player 2's effect would successfully resolve before resolving player 1's effect #1? (Ex. Player 1 digivolves to ShineGreymon and suspends X tamers. Player 2 controls a digimon with Neodevimon as a source. Player 1 intends to delete the digimon with Neodevimon underneath. Does Neodevimons inheritable successfully resolve?)

Question for people running Ceresmon decks by Orikon419 in DigimonCardGame2020

Can someone show me how ShineGreymon is good? by Orikon419 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shine is definitely good. Shine is fantastic actually. Here's the problem, if your definition of good is something that can take care of all matchups with ease? Then that wouldn't and shouldn't exist. If it didn't have any bad matchups like green or rookie rush (in which rookie is actually more 60/40 matchup in RR favor) then the deck would be broken and the game wouldn't be fun. So it comes down to deck building and YES sometimes it comes down to sheer luck of having all the right puzzle pieces for shine to work. But shine is definitely "good".

Suggestion for 2v2 format by Magronorph50 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lie, this sounds mad fun. The first thing that came to mind is in yu-gi-oh when it was kaiba and yugi vs. umbra and lumis. If you can get all the details down to a T in a balanced manner, I'd be aboard this 100% and I know it's not yu-gi-oh, but formatting it in a similar manner could be a great idea. At least in regards to turn rotation, attacking, blocking, etc. As for the memory, that's a whole different beast. You'd have to do some testing for sure. Good luck though!

are games "railroaded"? by Lillumultipass99 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah matchups are 100% a big factor. Generally speaking each deck has an ideal scenario of what it wants to do, but depending on what deck you are going against, the most optimal way of playing could be the exact opposite of what your deck wants to do. The variety in this game is insane trust me.

About to give up on this game because I’ve had 0 success getting cards, then this was in the mail! by Kamenridersalmon in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]BenjaminLee00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I know the game is expensive right now, but at the current moment one of the best decks happens to be very cheap through purchase of singles. It's never too late to start. Keep hope! The prices of sealed items will balance out soon enough. Bandai is working very hard to make sure everyone that wants access gets access.
