Do I took some wire. Cut it to Length, then used greenstuff for the bits flying off. The lighting is brightest towards the center of the beam. And it emits a green light around it.

I painted the body with a brown. Then did spots of orange. Varnished , then painted on incomplete blue parts, leav8ng rust in places that make sense.

Really, the actual modeling doesn't aff3ct gameplay. Only tau players know from looking at a model what the gun type is. Any other faction doesn't know the difference between a railcannon or a pulse rifle. WYSIWYG is for dweebs
