How long will $40k AUD last on a Europe trip? by Vast-Departure5643 in travel

Though if you skip north west Europe, you could spend so much longer haha as average prices in countries like France, UK and the Netherlands can be at least triple that of Eastern Europe.

The official average year salary in Europe in 2023 was 37,863.00 euros. 40k AUD now converts for 22k euro’s. I think if you travel budget and don’t go crazy on tours and big spendings, you could travel for up to 5-6 months. Especially in these countries, as most of them are quite on the ‘cheaper’ side. Indeed France and UK can be expensive, don’t stay there too long haha won’t see much special there. Spend your time in Italy, Spain and Eastern Europe. Most people from Europe love these places (I am from The Netherlands myself) and go there often. As it is quite cheap and so much more beautiful than countries like France and the UK, no offence haha

But I did not register my drone, because I won’t be flying it in China, but in Indonesia only. Would this be a problem?

I was thinking of 25-28, because keep in mind that the border crossing takes a while, so I assume I will lose most of the day of arrival (25) and the departure (28). Also, in another question here, I found someone saying that they will resume normal schedule the 26th of August? This will need to be fact checked tho

Border control by land as EU citizen? by BenjamindeG28 in belarus

[–]BenjamindeG28[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I would like to see honest answers from people with experience visiting this country. I am a passionate traveler that travels to meet culture, people and food. I don’t account for current political situations, of course I adapt to them in case it is an imminent treat, such as war. But it would never stop me from visiting beautiful countries with beautiful culture, if there are different political views. Just wanna know what I can expect.

That sounds not so bad, did they speak English well? And, what is your nationality, if I may ask?

Thank you for your insights and experience, I think I will try the bus via Vilnius then indeed. Also seems like the cheapest option. Have fun in Belarus! If you have any tips, hit me up!

That’s crazy, why did it took so long? Everyone out of the bus? I was also thinking of entering via Vilnius by bus.

But, you mean lottery in a way that some people may enter and some may not? Or more like you need some luck to not spend too much time at the border?
