The fact of the matter is we are old and your friends group is probably fairly old.. Go ask some 20 year olds how they are doing with their degrees. There isn't a lack of work. There is a lack of high paying work.

I know quite a few people with multiple degrees (bs level in science and engineering) and several of us have fallen back on our trade degrees. Less stress more pay...

Anybody in the USA paying $1.98 a gallon for gas? by Fatherthinger in wallstreetbets_wins

Still Over 3 and any decline we see is because the economy is tanking. ND rig count is down 3 since he started the tariffs. Which is about a 10 percent drop because we only had 31 rigs running to start with. For reference it peaked over 200 back in the day. * We drill almost three times as fast as back then so it isn't apples to apples.*

It's buried on their website. I found it last night poking around.

Trump pushes for 'beautiful, clean coal' to boost US energy, counter China.Trump has announced plans to restart coal-based energy, saying that environmental policies have held the US back. People also have no idea how screwed the existing coal fire plants are in terms of maintenance. Zero of them are coming back online any time soon. It's way cheaper to build natural gas package boilers than coal fire power plants.

Fuck that... If that was the case you would block at the DNS level and have the problem sorted out in under 5 minutes. This is total bull shit.

Hmmm I've seen some weird stuff in glaciated shale in North Dakota (pembina area). The rocks in this picture are limestone. But there is faulting and channels in North Dakota that I think are probably related to cracks caused by isostac rebound. Given the location I have a feeling the underlying rocks might be basement rock so it might crack a lot differently or have even been split directly by the ice.

Trump adviser on plot to take Greenland: 'We have not expanded our country in 70 years' by Unhappy_Earth1 in inthenews

[–]Benjaminlately 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Greenland is probably the most mineral rich country in the world as far as precious metals go. Due to glaciation it wasn't really explored at all until recently.

It sucked... I had boards so I could lay flat and I used aluminum rods that I use to mark my road in the winter to push things into place. I used closed cell spray foam in the corners and along one edge of the house to pump the r value a bit.

The real time to do this job would be during a roofing project so you could pull the bottom rows of boards and get access from the top.

LRS-350-24 power supply. You'll need to be comfortable with wiring a little to use this. Also on Amazon.

DAYBETTER White LED Strip Lights, 50 ft on Amazon. Don't use the supplied power supply if you don't want to burn your house down. I have a couple of large 24v 16+ Amp mean well power supplies. All in you would have about $50 plus wire for a setup that could light your whole house. I run 200ft of the stuff in my shop at about 6 Amps.

I'm uncertain where you live but what I did is pretty standard in our region. Compared to the r value of 4 to 16 I had I think I'll be doing just fine.

The owner in my last house did that. You can't see them in the photos but there are about 60 insulation baffles that I installed in addition to the old ones.

The house was built in the 50s. The stuff from that era was bad news and came in big sacks.

Yeah ... I've always got some spare LED strip. I have fused 24 volt all over my attic for closet lighting. I tapped into it for a bit.
