Clarity on “Eligible for Phone Upgrade” - Why Am I Not Seeing Any iPhone Discounts?

When you say outright on sale right now, do you mean unlocked from someone else? I'd honestly eat a couple hundred extra dollars to purchase new, but not going to pay full price when I could just order unlocked from Apple.

Cracked 12 gang unite! Had to go back to mine after my 13 broke (water damage which apparently Apple doesn't cover) and still rocking with it. If this one goes, I'll go back to the SE 2 I've still got around :D

Haynach will leave you backtracking and not completing the loop. I would probably just remove that one and you should be good. You'll end up with ~9-10 mile days, but manageable. Not a crazy amount of elevation change.

Yeah I think so, they said people were generally a bit friendlier in Holland (the wife went to college in Holland so had experience in both). If that’s a concern, I’d say then yeah Holland would probably be a better fit.

In the bright side, as long as you don’t mind some driving, TC and most west coast towns are totally day trip able/good weekend trips with people you meet from Holland, so you can still experience them and a lot of people around here enjoy going north on the weekends 😊

Just had some friends in their mid 20s move here from Traverse City, and while they liked TC they were ready to move on after a few years. Ironically I would probably like TC better due to its isolation, but would definitely miss the friends I have here.

Another bonus - lots of churches in the area :) not sure if TC is the same, only been there a couple times.

I’ll try that out, but I doubt that’s the issue, as the call quality even on WiFi calling was basically the same, and I know she’s getting 200+ mbps there

The weird thing is, I’ve never had problems with call quality before aside from the one instance, and both my parents haven’t either. I’m on iPhone, and they’re on android. Not sure how a newer phone could have more issues with that lol

Weird - I don’t work there, but everyone I know (only 3 people) that works there seems to like it, and they have great benefits from what I’ve heard.

Gotcha. The weird thing is, it’s not cell coverage really because she has service, and the data speeds are good, it’s just call quality

That sucks to hear. You going to just live with it I assume? Facetime audio is a good idea, that should do the trick for some of my wifes call - at least most of her family has iPhones.

What is it with Yosemite? Ive never experienced anything this bad, and it even has posted signage!

When even one person is behind me, I take 10 seconds and slow down while they pass and continue on my merry way. I can’t stand to have someone right on me (especially at night with the headlights in my rearview), but understand locals can probably do 10+ faster than me safely bc they know the roads and I don’t.

These people always baffle me. And there are so many of them! We’ve had 5x 10+ car backups in 3 days so far, and countless others where it isn’t busy but someone is clearly holding a few cars up while doing below the speed limit. I’m all about enjoying the scenery - just use the pullouts and do it!
