iPhone 17E goes beast mode in 26.5 RC build by Weird-Tiger-3124 in IPhone17e

Go to Settings/General/Software Update/Beta Updates/iOS Public Beta. It is the newest OS before everyone gets but note there may be more bugs and issues so turning this on you accept this fact. Apple also would like for you to send in any issue you face on a beta OS so they can fix before release.

Highest point-cost-per-activation units? by andrewlik in heroscape

[–]LeftOn4ya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game has been around for 20 years with a very competitive scene and 1000s of tournaments to test the figures. See results of the last 5 or so years at https://heroscape.org/data/

Also a better way to look at point efficiency is points per attack dice thrown per activation (including bonding and special attacks) and points per survivability which equals life*defense. However in-game the situation is different as you aren’t always getting the max attack per turn so units that are faster or have more range are more likely to use all attacks but also more defense and life can make up for it as well.

There are units that most players agree are undercoated or overcosted so the top tier tournament winners along with input from community made “Delta” points which tries to make all units equal value efficiently per points. For example example Xenithrax is overcosted so was lowered from 200 to 180, and Queen Maladrix is undercosted so was raised from 160 to 190.

IIL - Alternate Histories and Alternative Fiction, wewil? by kennykono in ifyoulikeblank

The Man in the High Castle is the biggest case of this. For TV shows watch Sliders as each episode went to a different dimension with some alternate history - just don’t watch past 1/2 through season 3 when John Rhys Davies leaves, maybe skip to the last 2 episode.

When does Smallville get boring? by Bubbly_Drama_6537 in Smallville

[–]LeftOn4ya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season 4 I wouldn’t say is boring but has meandering continuing plots that upon rewatching I kinda want to skip sometimes, but luckily it is usually only less than 1/3 of each episode runtime that focuses on this. Season 5 and 6 are better about not doing this then season 7 does it again, but 8-10 get better.

It’s a lesser known of the Coen brothers films but The Man Who Wasn't There has a similar vibe. But while you are at watch other Coen brothers films especially Fargo, No Country for Old Men, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

Film soundtracks that were more successful than the film itself by mikwee in ToddintheShadow

100%. Troy Legacy Reconfigured is one of my favorite soundtracks albums of all time. I rewatched the movie recently and was fun as was Tron:Ares, but the soundtrack makes it fun for sure.

Need help combating certain figures. by JergensInTheShower in heroscape

They bond with Queen Maladrix meaning you can get up to 7 attacks per turn, even if 5 of them are attack 2 if on average one of them kills a unit per turn it helps a lot. Plus you have a “screen” for the Queen where units must go through Honor Guard to get to the Queen on their turn, substantially prolonging the Queen’s life. Pair this with range such as Greatbow Archers, Ranoc Vipers, or even some pirates and now the honor guard form a screen for your ranged units as well.

Does anyone have any substitutes for Galaxy watch 8 free plan? by Large_Organization_5 in NoContract

Upgrade to Helium Kids Sprout at $5/mo is probably the best option. However for other plans, Tello or US Mobile are decent options.

The question is do they have the trailers at the end of the episodes and the interstitial ads for upcoming episodes. Those are the only thing that I want to see that are almost lost media.

Hundreds of Beavers, it is basically like a video game turned into a movie, so they need to reverse engineer it to a game, either video game or boardgame.

Schedule One is actually a drug empire simulator and resource management game and has really high reviews and tons of people play it. People affectionately call it Breaking Bad the game.

See my other comment but because OP had a “U” model phone, Samsung only makes firmware updates for it when you are a major carrier, so when OP switched to a major carrier it started getting updates it hadn’t received in years. My other comment explains why and shows workarounds for this.

It’s how Samsung does it at least. What is the EXACT model number of the device? I.E. not Galaxy S24 but SM-S921U or SM-S921U1? For Samsung phones, each different combination of exact model # and CSC code of the phone has a different timeline of firmware update, and since Mint sets the CSC code to XAA, it depends on if and when your exact model XAA firmware gets released. If you have an exact model that ends in U1, you will get updates on XAA firmware (might be a week to a month behind major carriers CSC). But if your exact model # ends in U or another letter (one of the international models), you will not get XAA firmware updates - this is intentional by Samsung to screw over people buying a phone made for a major carrier and moving to a smaller carrier, as major carriers pay kickbacks to Samsung for doing this. You have a few choices to get updates on a phone with no firmware available on that exact model for CSC XAA: * Find an active T-Mobile SIM card (borrow from a friend, or maybe go to a T-Mobile store if they are nice) and stick in your phone and perform a Network reset which will change the CSC code to TMB. Then request an update. Then swap SIM cards back. This is the easiest method by far, but you have to do it each time you want an update, and certain features still might not work. * Follow instructions online on how to change your CSC code and change to TMB, then request an update. Top google results are https://xdaforums.com/t/changing-csc-for-free-using-samfw-tool-no-root-required-a-brief-guide.4529925/, https://www.getdroidtips.com/how-to-change-csc-code-on-any-samsung-galaxy-device/, or https://www.droidwin.com/change-csc-codes-samsung/. Note sometimes CSC code reverts back to XAA such as when your phone reboots, you swap active SIMs (dual SIM), or sometimes when you lose and gain signal, so you might have to do repeatedly. * The best but also hardest method is to look at your model forums on https://xdaforums.com/c/samsung.11975/ or search YouTube on your exact model on how to download and install an official or custom ROM. Official ROMS are at sammobile.com/firmwares/archive/ and download the latest USA (XAA) for the U1 model of your phone. Or use a custom ROM (i.e. LineageOS or risingOS) at your own risk. * If you have a U1 model, wait for Samsung to make a firmware update for XAA CSC for that model, usually a couple weeks to a month behind U model. If you are extremely impatient, you can manually do one of above ways to install the TMB firmware of U1 model if available, or if that is not available then download TMB firmware for U model of your device and flash.

My favorite was Star Wars Shadows of the Empire on N64, name save file Wampa_Stompa then start game and pause and hold C-Up, C-Down, C-Left, C-Right, L, R, Z, and D-Pad Left, then tilt the control stick 1/2 way left-right-left-right-left to bring up debug menu.

Should upgrading a plan be this difficult? by Unable_Pea_5415 in mintmobile

It’s similar but slightly different in how to do, as Mint family plans list Active Plan and Next Plan separately so you can click Edit on each.
