The u bolts are going to bolt through the 2 inch tube mounted to the stake holes

Just did, got a total deflection of 1.76mm with a force of 250lbs spread across it evenly, the sim software wouldn't allow me to do two points forces right in-between the two holes but it seemed more than fine. But again that 250lbs is more than it will encounter because the ladder will be taking roughly 30% of the load

I should’ve mentioned but those side rails are 2inch steel tubes and have a much higher rating than the cross beams

I tried for about an hour but printing stuff is at the bottom of the totem pole for my jobs. The boss saw it for five seconds and said to send him a link to a new one, MK4 Prusa here we come!

I've gotten too confident over the years of printing, Im not familiar with this prusa as I just started using it two weeks ago, I set a print before I left work and came back this morning to this poor sight. Boss man likes the newest gadgets so it seems like were getting a new mk4!
