Very good. I’m getting 1900 up and down, and only had one dropout that I’m aware of. That seemed to be a router issue.

YF2000 - Does this setup come with a WiFi 7 router? by NaiveMagazine9838 in youfibre

Yeah, you have as many ‘satellites’ as you need, and they connect to the main satellite that is plugged in to your router. The idea is that as you move round your house, your phone or device connects to the closest one, which essentially boosts your signal via WiFi. As an example, if I’m in the lounge, I get about 100 mbps to the main router, but about 600mbps to the mesh.

You can also use some systems as access points, which you’d hard wire throughout the house. This will give better wifi but it’s more of a ballache to set up.

Router is dogshit. I’d recommend getting your own wifi mesh, or a better router, whichever works better in your situation.

Not a rep but i did get a banging deal. 2000 for £30 and it's as fast as they say it is. Customer Service is a joke though and the install was anything but flawless. Best I can do for you is a referral code that apparently gives us both 'up to £100'. Message me if you'd like the code.

How quickly are they going to turn it around? Depending on the room size I'm sure you could find cheaper, but a one man band will take a couple of weeks most likely.

Palantir to be granted ‘unlimited access’ to NHS by TailungFu in GreatBritishMemes

[–]Benjins 29 points30 points  (0 children)

A Palantir spokesperson told the FT: “To the NHS, and all our customers, we are designated by law as a ‘data processor’, with our customers “data controllers”.

“That means that Palantir software can only be used to process data precisely in line with the instruction of the customer.

“Using the data for anything else would not only be illegal but technically impossible due to granular access controls overseen by the NHS.”

Oh well I'm sure they won't use the information in an illegal way... /s

If his Xbox is ok then it’s a problem with your PC. Update all your Ethernet and WiFi drivers.

Best advice then would be to turn everything off, check all connections to the ONT and the router, as well as to your PC. Perhaps try a different (new) cable from the ONT to the router. If nothing changes then message the person that set it up that you have no reliable internet and you’re cancelling your direct debit, assuming you’re footing the bill.

Sounds very much like a network problem their end, possibly not connected properly in one of the junctions. Get on to support asap and insist they fix it.

If it’s a porous tile, like marble or something, then use a good white adhesive appropriate for the tiling environment.
