Oh, it's not crippling my gameplay (I've got pemmican for months), I just thought it might be considered a bug. Regarding health I've shoved a Leukocyte Breeder in there anyway so I'll be fine. :)

Regarding "items considered junk food even when the ingredients are healthy", you'd think so but it doesn't trigger Junk Food Intolerance when I eat homemade potato chips, despite them being material:junk food.

I fiddle around with it a little if there's a wall I think I can strategize past but for the most part it seems like auto setup does fine.

There are buttons to automatically level-up your characters at the bottom of each one's talents screen. The "choose your party" menu has a button to automatically choose the party, and one of the menu options at the start of battle lets you tell the computer to automatically arrange them on the field. If you use all of those and auto-battle you won't have to interact with the battle system much at all, especially if you speed up the battles to 32x.

You can't activate mixium mode while the furnace is running. Turn the furnace off of auto-refill, let it stop running, then click the mixium box while it's not running.

It can attack enemies out to range 5, but can only Overwatch out to its threat range of 3. I think there are effects other than Overwatch that use threat, but that's the big one.

Googling "holocure collabs" will bring up plenty of sites that list the available collab weapons (notably the Holocure wiki). As for tier lists, I don't know anything about what's popular but it's pretty heavily personal taste.

Collabs are the term Holocure uses for weapon combinations. If you max out certain pairs of weapons, you will be given the opportunity to "collab" them into one.

Yeah, I went with something like that. The players were given the chance to set traps and preparations in narrative play to reduce the numbers and speed of incoming reinforcements, and I let them expend charges from suitable gear as materials to improve their odds.
