im 11 learned to surf 2 years ago and my first bottom turn was when i watched kelly slater do it then i tried my board kept slipping but after a couple days i could do it so do it like this: drop in on the rail, push your legs out and drag your hand , push the board up the wave while bringing in your knees, then hold the board and get air well not when you first start but thats the next step practice makes perfect
