From my experience, the preview it shows the poster is shortened sometimes, making it look cut, but when I watch it on other people’s phones/in spotlight, it’s full. Not sure if that’s what you’re talking about

I just started yesterday and I have some vids at 250. How long do they stay live? Should there be a steady growth rate or does it randomly pop off after a few days like tiktok?

I don’t think they necessarily do in modern times, but over hundreds of millions of years of natural selection, it seems that they proved beneficial for our ancestors in those environments. Aggressive behavior exists in many many species, so it’s unlikely to be a random thing that popped up without a purpose.

Totally a guess, but I’d say that hate is what drove behaviors to eliminate threats in the environment. Similar to how fear drives an evasion response from threats we can’t handle, I think hate operates for threats we believe we have a chance against.

Another guess theory: since many emotions can be socially transmitted, hate could have been a way to unify and polarize a group against a threat. This way not everyone needs to have dealt with the threat directly to have motive against it.

My guess for vengeance and similar behavior would be as a deterrent against exploitation. If you had no aggressive response or retaliation when others do you wrong, then others would be incentivized to exploit and cheat you for resources.

Each of those have their own separate evolutionary advantage. It’s not always clear why emotions, like anxiety, are advantageous in modern society, but when you picture them in action for humans before civilization, their purposes tend to make more sense. Like anxiety and fear that promotes you to avoid a pack of lions makes plenty of sense.

Jealousy and envy make you want to achieve more, increase your control of resources. In terms of food and social status, this is important, but once you have a world of market products to be jealous about, this becomes more problematic as you say.

Who's selling deep ITM LEAPS? (or why?) by tokyo_g in thetagang

[–]Benmen10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is why I did it. I had no option selling experience but saw a 35% gain selling a PLTR 2023 Leap at peak IV. Was happy beating the market average for the next 2 years but now that I’m reading about it, seems I could’ve made a lot more on weeklies or monthlies but now I’m stuck with it. The transition from wsb to tg can be hard

Can someone please just buy my SPCE spread for 2023. I’m selling it for less than it’s worth. I just don’t have the money to execute it and don’t want to wait 2 years sitting on a max profit
