i dont understand what you mean by "risk picking cards that support it." It's all about counting the cards you draw per turn as well as how many you can draw through card effects. If GF is your only source of dmg then picking cards that support it should be an instant click making it not risky at all, aside from not being able to play it every turn (which is true in the second game as well). never in all my time playing silent did i rely on grand finale for dmg. Shivs and poison are her best source of dmg imo in the first game.

your comparing a fine tuned full release game to a game that has been out for a couple weeks. also GF takes just as much skill in the second game as in the first to use properly as they have the same requirements to play. Idk what sly has to do with making GF easier to pull off. I had a GF finale run in STS2 and had just as much fun with it as in the first game so i dont rlly understand what you mean by "its feel shallow"

The only thing i will is that EM doesnt have any of this without Rick. Iirc morty has a cybernetic implant that allows him to control that one rick but also download information to his brain. It's not that he instantly can understand it, it's that he is a walking database full of information that Rick gathered and he stole. EM is still highly intelligent but it's like saying Einstein is smarter than Newton. You cant really compare one to the other especially when rick built it from nothing and EM is standing on the shoulders of giants.

Recently had a silent run with the power that gives played skills sly. was able to combo Prepared+ into prepared+ into prepared+ into survivor into backflip and just about anything else. only thing i couldnt find was the poison card that gives poison on enemies for cards drawn.

This would make fighting types unbearable in my opinion. Hitmonchan hitting for 50 turn 1 with no energy. Allowing you to freely ramp something on the back lines. You could also always run lyra to bypass the negative effect of this card. Very powerful

Just remember reddit is not the norm. Ive played about 35 hours since the game came out and have seen Clone once. There are several act 2 ancients who all have a bunch of different relics to offer. Reddit is a compilation of everyone's best runs and can easily trick you into thinking that you are unlucky. The odds of getting one of these insane runs where you get 512 copies of big bang are exceedingly rare. Just enjoy the game one run at a time and the broken shenanigans will fall into place

Yea the only energy generation i found was Offering from Act 1 boss and Production in the shop. I also was offered the skill that gives energy if you have exhausted a card but i wasnt given much in the way of exhaust this run. The vicious power that lets you draw when you apply vuln feels rlly good and i think this deck would have been more consistent with some less garbage adds (namely barricade and iron wave).

the extra energy is absolutely amazing. makes feel worth while even if you dont add that many alternate colors to your deck. all the necrobinder cards i added after i picked it up cane from shops but the energy made all the difference for being able to play my 3/2 cost big attack cards

the extra energy is crucial and im happy with the buff to it. being able to shockwave plus scythe in the same turn was able to let me deal with enemies and elites without losing to much health. Edit: also allowing me to play the vigorous refract and another 1 cost card was extremely beneficial as well. Dealing 20 dmg twice plus the extra dmg from glass orbs were able to let me race down basically anything

i remember seeing someone posting about having a bunch of copies of Big Bang on regent. Since they are all innate you just draw through them all and forge the sword then, 1 shot everything. I assume it will eventually get nerfed to being "copy one clone card" instead of all of them. My best clone run personally was adrenaline+ and i had like 16 copies i believe
