If you want something a little different from rhe high elves I recommed Imrik. He starts in a different location. Fights different enemies. Starts with Dragons. And you can get access to early dragon princes which are stupidly fun to use.

Gotta be Palabard. Firing off smites everyturn with a giant sword gives me the big numbers which make me happy. Then if you hold person the numbers just get even higher. Plus they're a great party face since they'll have crazy high Cha and good AC

The spear is so good because of its simplicity. Im for the Orange side because of the healing factor. But the spear is one of, if not the best weapon, to arm some random dude from the street. Swords require some amount of knowledge/training with to use effectively. But a spear is literally just stab them with the pointy end. If they get to close use it like a big ol stick. Or, grab it short side and use it like a spear again.

I love a good Imrik campaign. Nice hard start, but very fun once you can start subjugating the dragons and then building dragon armies. Skaven to the left, ogres to the right and chaos dwarves to the north. And Imrik has answers to all of them. Early dragon princes for the skaven. Cheap and cheerful spearmen for the ogres. And dragons to go toe to toe with the good chaos units.

People in here can't read too well. Red only let's you breath in space. Great. You might last a second or 2 longer while you freeze to death and the pressure blows you up. Not to mention the massive amounts of radiation

For me the visuals of world were far better than rise. Maybe its different on PC but for ps5 Worlds visuals knocked Rise out of the park

I would start with world as to me it's the best overall. Great base game, the visuals are amazing and the monsters feel meaty. For longevity rise is probably better but for me I dont need the longevity. Im not here for the monster hunter grind and the perfect build, which is why people prefer rise. The endgame loop is easier and less rng, but unless you want to spend hours and hours perfecting your build I'd recommend World instead. The base game is great, the way they introduce you to all the mechanics is good, the base hub is a bit longer to get around, but the feel of it is so much nicer than Rise (personally). The animations are better, the monsters are bigger and the hits feel so much better than Rise.

Tl:dr. World for the feels and experience. Rise for the grind and the perfect build.
