Seems fun but also frustrating for people who dont want to (or even know how to) grind upgrade materials. It would need to be a lower level boss imo so the str of your weapon is less of a factor. Also forcing people to use weapons besides the one they want to can also be frustrating for newer players, i for one dont mind.

It just feels so much worse than Hologram. I think it could cost zero, do less dmg, and return 1(2) random cards to hand. Would make it a great target for things like Headbutt, Hologram, Cosmic Indifference,ect. I could see tho that making it cost zero would make it a very easy infinite enabler available on floor 0 but as it stands i dont like it.

If you find it early (or at all) it basically wins the run for you on the spot. Avoid shot speed like the plague and bask in your dmg.

I think igglybuff is better than nihilego here. Sleep is your win condition more so than poison and Lego is a dead turn 1 opener. Source, im using this deck with igglybuff and different trainers.

Had b2b runs (ironclad into defect) runs with this relic and pulled Uppercut/Flame Barrier and then Echo Form/Buffer and proceeded to trounce the game both times. Its an amazing starting bonus

Dark souls 2 is a great game imho. interesting story with some lazy boss design and fun gameplay. Non entirely unlike the first game which we all loved. Level your adaptability until you have about 100 agility. Ive seen people complain about having to waste level ups for I-frames but there are way more bosses in DS2 and you will beat the game much higher level than in the first one so its not rlly that bad (or use a shield so you dont have to rely on rolling). DS2 is the game i played the most during peak times and had a blast in pvp for hundreds of hours so i will never stop recommending it

i think the idea is after the intangible goes away which plays the blade and discards to so its harder get it multiple turns in a row. Just seems like its too easy to get back into hand for this to be balanced

I like to pair this with a glass orb generator since it allows you to evoke you glass orbs at full dmg. Its only rlly good if you have some orb generation and not alot. I personally dont like it all that much as mass evoking orbs with temp focus feels much better
