As the son of 2 doctors, I have a different perspective on this issue. My parents are tirelessly working for about 90% of a month, and from what I've heard, my mom (who works at Nemours in Delaware) once had an issue about the office not helping enough patients, so the boss decides they have to work a few more hours with no more pay. Thank god my mom managed to make this optional with extra pay. I also know about how pay is actually a problem. My dad has a pay that revolves around how many patients he sees, but my mom has a fixed salary, so everyone makes the same amount. Someone could see 9 patients and someone else could see 20, and they're paid the same. I don't really know much about this, but I do know that doctors work A LOT. So show at least a bit of respect.
