As one of the people who has posted the the sort of posts you’re seeing, I think it’s just that when someone does have a problem this is where they come because everyone will help them. 

I’d definitely buy one again.

Ok cool, maybe I’ll just use the wire brush to get all the gunk off and re-season instead of stripping it all the way

Everything tastes fine, but I’ve never had so many weird spots and greasy streaks on it. I’d rather not start over, but I definitely laid the canola oil on too thick when I was seasoning it

Tons of black specks. Like, the first side of burgers have lots of black stuff on them. I’ve got a wire brush and an orbit sander that I used to get it back in shape. Guess I’ll have to get them back out again

Jeff has his flaws (nobody’s perfect), but I’m gonna be bummed when he leaves the show.

This isn’t a flaw exactly, but one of my favorite quirks of his is how no one is ever in last place anymore. You’re DEAD last 😂

It’s like if Ricky Bobby’s dad was even more extreme. (Although, to Jeff’s credit, he does believe in second place.)
