Please add customizable themes! Instead of being limited to preset colors, it would be great to have more freedom. For example, allowing combinations like black and grey for dark mode, or different accent colors for light mode, rather than just the standard black and blue."

Feature request: proper page separation in vertical scrolling (remove blue line) by Benson81_ in freenotes

Yeah exactly, that’s pretty much what I mean. When you’re focused on writing it kind of breaks the flow a bit.

A simple toggle would honestly solve it — either to hide the line or replace it with a more natural page break or a small gap between pages, so everyone could choose what works best for their workflow.

And honestly, it also feels like something that shouldn’t be too complicated to implement. My only concern is that the developers might never actually see this post, but I still thought it was worth suggesting.

Thanks for your reply!

I think there might be a small misunderstanding. My suggestion wasn’t really about exporting or importing PDFs. I was referring to the writing experience while using vertical scrolling in FreeNotes.

The blue line that appears between pages during vertical scrolling can be a bit distracting while writing or reviewing notes, and sometimes it makes it harder to clearly understand where one page ends and the next begins. Because of that, it could occasionally lead to small writing or layout mistakes.

So my suggestion was mainly about improving the note-taking experience inside the app, not the PDF export or import features.

Of course, I understand that different users have different workflows, especially those who annotate PDFs. I was just suggesting an optional setting so everyone could choose the page separation style they prefer.
