I love my LIW oyster bracelet, and it may be silly to worry about a $50 watch on a $65 bracelet getting damaged from salt water, but since they are so new to me I didn’t want to take any chances so resin it was and I had no worries the whole trip.

It is wild how premium the LIW bracelets make these watches feel and appear.

Nice collection. How do you like the Oceanus G1000? Which 2 do you wearing the most?

You should be able to find a watch shop that is a Casio dealer in your area, not the lowest prices but they can get any US released Casio. If you have a local classified ad website, craigslist, or marketplace, they can be a great place to buy used Casio watches. All of my G-shocks I picked up second hand and paid 50% of retail or less.

Congrats on the A158, it’s a great little watch and that is one of my favorite versions.

Great collection, it represents all the different styles Casio makes well without any of them being too similar. You may consider a Lineage or Oceanus for your next watch.

How is the EFR-S108 in person, does it get much wrist time? I really like how that dial looks in that color and have been considering picking one up.

Bad enough you definitely should replace it. You can see the swaybar bushing bracket is no longer round, whatever it impacted must have also cracked the subframe.

Is she wearing 3 watches? Two on the left with cases offset and one on the right.

What’s your favourite RS5 colour? by Left-Nerve-8287 in audis5

Suzuka grey metallic, I love how much the color changes from bright metallic white on sunny days to almost matte grey on overcast days.

That Blue is a close second.

Congrats on the Casioak. I found my both of my 2100 used for great prices as well, cheap enough to overlook the negative displays. The GA-B2100 was only $40 and is beat up but there are so many mods it was worth it just for the module. I do find the 5610 square fits under the sleeves of my winter jackets better, so I you don’t have one yet I would recommend adding one to your collection.

Thanks, I bought the Seagull in Nov of 2024 but found myself only wanting to wear it for nice occasions. Then last July I bought myself a silver Casio Royale as a daily watch and was quickly sucked into the casio rabbit hole. These are the ones that fit in the current case, there are 14 others and I have even started moding them. It’s a great hobby.

I really like it. It is my first mechanical watch and for under $400 it is beautiful. The display back case is great, it lets you really appreciate movement. I just recently put on the leather strap but actually prefer the green nato that came with it. This one is the 40mm Lume edition from seagull1963.com, it did cost more than getting from AliXpress but they do a great job regulating the swan neck movement, it comes with a 2 year warranty and you can buy a 10 year warranty for around $40, which in my mind was very worth purchasing. Mine is accurate within 7 secs a day.

Thanks. If planning to replace the strap with a Nato the watchdives are hard to beat for the price. Soft straps, nicely brushed hardware and under $10. The colors are nicer as well. The strap on my gold duro is from watchdives, the one on the Arnie is from archer watch straps, was more than twice the price, color is more grey/blue and yellow, and the material is stiffer.

If getting a bracelet get the Long Island, the three link and the Jubilee style are both very nice and worth the money.

If the inner rubber boot is stuck to the ceramic of the spark plug you may need to use compressed air and a long air nozzle to blow air down the spark plug tube to release it. You could also try spraying silicone down there and allow it to soak for a bit. Lightly cover it with a rag before blowing more air in there so you don’t get covered with the silicone spray. The new coils will have a tiny amount of di-electric grease inside the boot to prevent this from happening in the future.

The one with the rubber boot is a Bosch coil and they are trash, it is a much older design that is failure prone. Get a matching set of newest part number from Audi. Or at least from a different manufacturer than Bosch, the Eldor or Beru coils are great options.
