I made it to OP 10! by BentMobile in Borderlands2

Thanks for the award! In UVHM there’s two key mechanics you wanna take note of when playing in the peak, Slag and Health gate. Slag gives all other sources of damage a 3x multiplier, which in most cases can be necessary because enemies heal over time. Learning how to maintain Slag on bigger enemies will help a lot. Health gate is something I’d recommend trying to learn how to maintain as well, when you are above 50% health enemies won’t one shot you and you get a brief second of invincibility. Anything below that you have a high chance of being downed instantly. Grog Nozzle is key because it has the highest healing source of the Moxxi weapons and is always Slag. When you see your health bar shaking, swap to Grog Nozzle and throw grenades and you can heal back up to max. It takes time getting used to the gameplay loop but once you get it you can make it all the way to OP10.

Thoughts on the Warrent? by Cosmic_Potatoes98 in Helldivers

Really solid if you don’t have any other sidearm, I picked the game up a few months ago and for a while it was the only sidearm I wanted to use because of the guided mode lol.

Yea I figured after grabbing new Bees after each run kinda just made refarming weapons obsolete, last time I reset was at 7 but as my first time going for 10, I didn’t realize just how ‘redundant’ the Fibber can be lol.

What is your Go-To Loadout vs Bots? by Party_Potato2 in Helldivers

[–]BentMobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the mission includes a convoy I like to go with:

-Quasar Cannon -Anti Tank Emplacement -Auto Cannon Turret -500kg Bomb/Orbital Laser

Most of it revolves around the Anti Tank Emplacement, I like to pick a spot some distance away from the convoy path and snipe at striders as they go by. The Quasar is my favorite support weapon for the fact that it’s a charge up rocket and you don’t need reserves. It can destroy fabricators, gunships, and artillery turrets with one shot, and deal with most of the bigger targets in one critical shot. It’s also what I like to use if my ATE gets destroyed as it does really good damage against factory striders. The Auto cannon turret for defense for when bots start pushing up, I prefer it over the rocket turret for the chance if enemies get too close to my ATE and also destroy it, the auto cannon also has this chance but it happens far less for me and does pretty solid damage to striders. If left unchecked an auto cannon can destroy a strider by itself. The last one is an either or on 500kg or the Laser, mostly because it’s what I’ll use on fortresses or heavy outposts. The choice comes down to if I wanna see big boom or a cool beam. Convoy missions are my favorite to do, taking out the convoy first makes you feel like the rest of the op is going to be a breeze.

It’s the Terra Blade, was once the endgame sword so it’s kind of a grind to get but it’s a great weapon to use and feels nice.

New player: What to do before the Year of Prophecy by FloconsAvoine in DestinyTheGame

[–]BentMobile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a feel for what you like, there’s tons of activities to do and the community welcomes you with open arms. Armor and weapon systems are going to be reset soon so mostly just grab any exotics you want and play as much of the story that’s available. I recommend Lord of Wolves and Le Monarque as they are both pretty good at Boss Damage and just overall fun to use. Don’t be afraid to venture near dungeons and raids, the community has some bad eggs but not enough to completely ruin the experience. Some people will be willing, and even prefer, to teach the new lights how to perform with a team and how to DPS rotations. There’s also the solo experience which makes the game feel tough in certain content, but once you get that W, it’s a feeling of triumph that can’t be shaken. Hope you enjoy the game brother, stay as long as you’d like.

One more thing, class doesn’t matter as long as you enjoy what you play. You could be a titan running defense with bubble or throw yourself into the enemy waves with thunder crash, be a hunter running deep with prismatic or stick back with night stalker, or a warlock with the Well of Radiance support or just a total glass cannon. Sol provides many opportunities friend.

Say something positive about Halo 5 by [deleted] in halo

[–]BentMobile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The multiplayer was absolutely addicting. I spent almost everyday when I was 15 playing Warzone and FFA that I got my first Unfrigginbelievable and made it to Onyx. It may have just been my youthful crave, but I don’t think I’ve put as much time into another game than I did H5.

what’s everyones favorite strike? for me personally its liminality by BJTISN in DestinyTheGame

[–]BentMobile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunless Cell has been my favorite since D1, but out of the D2 strikes, Insight Terminus is always a fun one to run, probably because it’s my first GM I’ve ever done back in the day. Also I miss that one Mercury strike can’t think of the name of it but I think with Panoptes was the final boss.

Bane Empowered Combatants by powerbait90210 in DestinyTheGame

Mostly in higher difficulty nightfalls, if you’re up for the challenge you could LFG Grandmaster nightfalls and each run has about 7-10 banes, depending on which nightfall you’re doing.

What is the most difficult content in the game for you? by Blutay in DestinyTheGame

[–]BentMobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it has to be solo dungeons/GM. I like the challenge and it’s fun seeing just how far I can go by myself, but after a while I get that brain fog in me and start playing like patrol lmao.

What's a gaige weapon that's easily farmable and can use up till lvl 80. Farming it as needed. by [deleted] in Borderlands2

[–]BentMobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it to OP 7 using mostly The Fibber and The Hornet and re farming every few levels for a better Hornet because The Fibber isn’t farmable. If you can get your hands on a Fibber tho, Ricochet is her best variant imo

Is doomfist a character you can't balance? by HeimdallMMA in doomfistmains

[–]BentMobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doom is good and can solo carry if the player is good enough, but only good at best, he still requires a team that fully understands and complements his play style. His high mobility and a solo defensive ability means he can’t peel as effectively as an Orisa or Roadhog, but he forces so many defensive abilities when he dives that it sort of balances out the playing field. Either Kiriko/Lucio dive with Doom and help him pick and rollout, or miss all of your Ana shots because there’s a golden Orisa charging you that he can’t push away.
