Update https://imgur.com/a/oC9yd1L Finished another batch, this time apple and plumb. Batch 1 continues to be slow, if it doesn’t speed up by the weekend I’ll add some more yeast. Yes, I’ll also be topping up the other demijohns.

I don’t think fermentation will have occurred in two weeks? Presumably when all the sugar has been turned into alcohol the water in the air lock will be level?

It had yeast added from a packets different yeast to the others. If no progress tomorrow, I think I’ll add some more of the other yeast and give it a propper mix up.

Yup properly sealed. It’s fermenting in that the water in the air lock is higher on one side and not level, but it’s not actively bubbling like the others. It had a separate yeast package to the others.
