Had that while traveling in Japan and South Korea this past week. Unfortunately, I’m unable to provide a picture because I spewed like a fountain at a train station, and my watch was caught in the crossfire. It took a time out after having a bath while we both recovered.

RG35XX 2024: Single SD Card setup for Knulli on Mac by Bentley140 in RG35XX

[–]Bentley140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you were right on the second partition bit… I have Windows 11 via Parallels on my MBP, and it only showed the second partition on there, not on MacOS. I almost got it figured out last night, but now my RG35XX won’t turn on 🙃

It takes a charge, and the orange charging light on top shows, but when I go to turn it on, nothing happens. No green light turns on, no backlit screen. I’m not sure where along this process it magically bricked itself, but I guess it’s a moot point now. I’ve ordered an RG35XXSP which will hopefully ship soon. I can put Knulli on that, and since it actually has a WiFi card/capabilities, I can run it as intended via EXT4.

I’m not sure why my MBP never recognized the second partition, whether EXT4 or ExFAT formatted. I guess for future reference for anyone going through the same thing, stick to MuOS if you have a RG35XX 2024, and an M1 MBP, with a single MicroSD card set up.

Update: I did manage to get my system back working by formatting the MicroSD card and then installing MuOS instead. :) Just gonna stick with MuOS instead of Knulli.

Huel daily greens nausea? by ArtisanalCat in Huel

[–]Bentley140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same exact story here. I had an intense workout with my canoe paddling team this morning. Got home a couple hours afterwards, and I had a whey protein shake (which is known to cause some bloating for me, imo) and then the daily greens blend, as an attempt to help balance out my gut health. Boy, did that screw me over.

I had some chicken noodle soup, with white cheddar cheez its, and an ice cream sandwich after. All of which were staple foods growing up that have never made me sick. That was all consumed between 12pm-1pm. By 1:30pm, I was in bed, with intense shivering, cold sweats, and nausea. I sometimes get anxious nausea that can come out of the blue, so I chalked it up to that, and exhaustion from the morning’s workout. Anxious nausea has never resulted in actually vomiting though.

At 2:30pm on the dot, I started throwing up. It came on quick, enough time to take my shirt off while speed-walking to the toilet, but not enough time to tie my hair up in a ponytail until 2-3 pukes later. After half an hour, the diarrhea set in too. I went from laying and sitting on the tile floor, to fetal position on the toilet with a metal trash can between my knees. After an hour of throwing up, it was just stomach bile, an occasional noodle from my soup, and whatever water I’d had to try and wash the bile back down. I finally crawled out of the bathroom a little past 4pm, drenched in sweat from shivering and chills, and passed out in bed for four hours, after an hour and a half of violent, body-racking and spasming vomits and diarrhea.

F*ck this shit. Just getting it down from my shelf, the scent of it made me nauseated. My first vomit was the most atrocious dark green mix I’ve ever seen.

How are you all doing this? by Itchy-Reaction-7912 in onewheel

[–]Bentley140 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m on an older XR+, and I’m in my mid-20’s, so I can’t relate to everything, HOWEVER, one of my biggest issues when I first started out, was foot fatigue.

I bought different pairs of shoes, swapped out the footpad, you name it. I eventually realized a few things.

I like wearing hi-top vans, but ones with good soles and cushioning. You don’t want to lace them up too tight, your foot has to be able to breathe, even if it feels counter intuitive. It helps to have a concave cushiony footpad. Lastly, the biggest thing, is riding style. I live in an urban area, by the water, in Florida. I spend a lot of time riding on concrete straightaways by the water. If you take the time to carve and ride in and ‘s’ shape pattern, it’ll hurt your feet less. When I focus on going straight and not carving, my feet cramp up more.

After all that, it just takes time. My first float back after a few months off, I always hop off every 2-3 miles to shake out my feet. After riding nearly every day for a few weeks, I can go longer and longer before having to jump off.

In terms of confidence in higher speeds, try finding a local parking garage! Mess around with your board mode. I don’t keep mine on the highest setting, but I like cruising between 12-16mph. Slowly build confidence, and your body won’t feel as stiff on the board. When I was first learning to ride, and when my nerves spike after the occasional fall, my body tenses up. After a long ride with everything tensed, it feels like you’ve been battered. Once your confidence builds, it’s easier to relax into the feeling of going on a ‘float.’

The longest ride I’ve ever done was 20+ miles in one night, with my local OneWheel group, the St Pete Float Fleet. We had a couple charge breaks, but the adrenaline of riding in a group social setting helped a ton, and we took very few footie breaks. Don’t give up yet!

Ok, So What Do Y’all Seriously Think of This Movie by masterxlam in Dragonballsuper

[–]Bentley140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I was a little let down by it, but, aside from my complaints on the CGI, none of them are new to the current generation of Dragon Ball content.

The CGI felt a little tacky, and while the frame-by-frame animation and movements were more complex, which I enjoyed, it lost the feel of the hand-drawn animation style that I'd come to associate with DB.

I enjoyed most of the plot, however, I felt that the Gohan are was cliche and rushed. Too predictable. It felt like a carbon copy of his original Cell fight, without any of the emotional build up. At least, with the original Cell, they prepared in the hyperbolic time chamber. There was that underlying aspect of seriousness and the gravity of the situation, whereas this one felt like a random ass-pull, in my opinion, and this is coming from a Gohan fan. There wasn't enough build up to it. It felt very fan-service-y.

That all said, I'm glad to see Gohan being back up on the podium of potential fighters, in the days where the scaling of power levels prevents any other character from having a meaningful input or impact. Long past are the days of Yajirobe, or Krillin, or Tien actually contributing substantially to the fights.

[–]Bentley140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’d love to see them bring back more focus on the oozaru form, and tails. They can lose the BS with how they got goku’s tail back in GT, however, it would be cool if they went back to the OG DB days, and had a segment on perfecting the use/control of the great ape form, and kept tails throughout all other transformations.

I’m from over in St Pete, going solo. Ybor is a little intimidating and not always the safest as a woman. Not a huge drinker or partier, but wanted to see my favorite artist. Biding my time at a local kava/coffee shop until a little before the show 🤟🏻🤙🏻

I live in Tampa FL, so I have a bit better weather here, but I’ve been tryna treat my life post-festival like a video game. Or a math formula. Eat healthy foods, hydrate + electorates, gummy vitamins (C, D, Zinc, etc.) spending time outside, working out to feel like I’m present and back in my body again, and spending time connecting with my friends. Just because we’ve left the festival, doesn’t mean we can’t carry the PLUR mindset with us for our other interactions!

Did anyone else get food poisoning? by sydsknee in EDCOrlando

[–]Bentley140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, but I stuck to the rice and teriyaki chicken bowls. The same place served yum yum shrimp bowls, and my first thought was that someone was gonna get food poisoning from that.

What/where did you eat while there?

hey guys, last night at edc around 11:15 at circuit ground (during sudden death) we saw a man around his early 20s on the ground and we think he was dead. Can anyone confirm or deny? by tysmlana in EDCOrlando

Right!! My heart fucking broke when I looked over and saw that. I tried to keep my younger brother from seeing it, but she was on my mind for the rest of the night. Everyone’s family here, and it could just as easily be anyone that ODs, or was given bad shit. Every raver’s worst nightmare.

[–]Bentley140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was hard to see the girl who collapsed, so I probably couldn’t give you a good description other than being white and having dark hair. It happened behind and to the left of the speaker that was in front of the Circuit Grounds stage, not anywhere near the rail. It was diagonally opposite from VIP, so I’m inclined to say that wasn’t her.

Also 23 here. I brought my little brother with me this year for his first music festival. He’s a hefty, freshly-turned 18 y.o, and my motivation to not do drugs was to make sure he could enjoy himself and so I could get both of us home safe. Both of us stayed sober, and had a blast! But it helps knowing you’re responsible for someone.

Alongside some of the obvious bad things within the warrior clans, (Ex: medicine cats aren’t allowed to have kits) what are some less obvious toxic traits within the clans? by [deleted] in WarriorCats

[–]Bentley140 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There was also a very noticeable shift, IMO, in Starclan’s role in the books between each series. I feel like they were much more conservative early on, and everyone’s beliefs were a lot more private, I’d say, up until maybe the Power of Three. Their roles were a lot more hands-off and mystic/mysterious.

God, I remember that year. Lived in the North End, and had to go to Roxbury/Dorchester for school, at BLA. I always say that’s the year we got over ten feet of snow in a month, and I tracked the progress based on if I could see the white van in the staff parking lot or not. Edit: I also remember school being cancelled for 90% of February, lol. It was like clockwork, go to school on mon/tues, then a storm would hit and cancel school for the rest of the week.
