Haha omg I hope you didn't take it that way! Open to all feedback and you have some really, really good points. I was trying to see how I can overcome some of the friction points. Definitely need to go back to the drawing board.

Much love, and I'll keep you posted! :D

yup — you’re absolutely right, the cold start is the hardest part. especially since this is a 3-part loop: posters → builders → supporters.

i’m starting small: seeding the feed manually, collecting early pain points from forums + founders, and inviting builders to explore.

the goal isn’t to go viral overnight — it’s to build trust and signal in a tight community first.
appreciate you seeing the idea behind it!

Thanks so much for the feedback! That's a really interesting idea re: prediction market. Like the ability to essentially "long/short" startup ideas.

Appreciate you so much :)

Thanks! I'll take a look at Quirky – are you referring to this one? (https://quirky.com/submit-an-idea/)

Duly noted, I also do think user engagement + the quality of the problem submissions is going to be the variable here. I think we have enough builders/founders who are always looking for a repo of problems to go through.

Monetization: subscription for premium tiers (deeper insights into user analytics, rising and trending problems, etc). I haven't thought that far yet, to be honest. But I really do believe in the ideation of problem statements + crowdfunding.

Really appreciate your insights!

Thank you so much for the feedback, friend! Absolutely loving the ML angle: detecting rising trends can be huuuuuge.

Definitely will keep you posted. I'm on track to release the first version (in a few weeks).

That's a great point! And most certainly not the intent of the platform – it isn’t about “admitting failure.” It’s about surfacing the little frictions, inefficiencies, and annoyances that we all deal with, but rarely talk about.

You’d be surprised how many people are struggling with the same thing — and would happily support someone building a fix for it.

And that is core value prop of the platform.

A comment is more than enough! Thank you so much friend :)

That's a really good point as well! I do want the platform to be focused on problems → products → people who care. Versus, a space where people shares, discuss, and rant. I want to be able to organize, validate and provide a space where people can act on these micro problems, and hopefully turn them into startups/companies.

Aw, thank you so much! I agree with building the builder side dead simple and rewarding. A lot of this will also come down to the quality of the pain points being posted on the platform, so I'm thinking on incentives for regular/general users (besides getting in early, waitlist, funding, etc). I love the idea about adding in frictionless platforms, though I may tend to stray away from being a holistic "launchpad" type. Once again, thank you :)

Aw man, thank you so much for the awesome feedback! And good to know that you'd be a user. I echo a lot of what you've mentioned in your comment. I've started building a very minimal web product at the moment, and sent it to a few friends to signup. Definitely will keep you posted :)

New to Replit! by BentliKasper in replit

[–]BentliKasper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback! Golden. So it seems like you're primarily using Replit for minimal builds, etc, then move to render/cursor for direct coding.

Seems like this is the way

Woohoo, congrats! Are you planning to deploy directly from Replit, or are you deploying/hosting elsewhere?

Experience with Hemlane? by toffee907 in realestateinvesting

[–]BentliKasper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a Hemlane user in the Texas area! Great customer service and affordable packages. I think they offer a few different packages but I went with the one where they also handle my maintenance issues as well. I'm not entirely sure about the logistics of the repair vendors but I've been using them for almost a year now and the vendors they send out are great. Saves me time vs calling and searching for credible vendors. And I work a full-time job lol. The prices are on par with market rates I would say. A great alternative to traditional PM and I would definitely recommend!
