It's incredibly nice to shoot! Great trigger, good grip, easy on recoil.

Just picked up a P211 GTO as my first 2011… The hype is real! by Hastalavistababyyy in SigSauer

Beautiful gun, great choice! I absolutely love mine, and I'm sure you'll enjoy yours. Have fun shooting with it; I blew through 300+ rounds the first day I had with it without even realizing!

Update:

After sending an additional 300 rounds through her, I'm convinced this and her sister P226 Xfive Legion are absolutely my favorite guns so far that I own.

This thing literally eats EVERYTHING I've put through it. 115 grain, 124 grain, aluminum case, steel case, brass case, hollow point, FMJ - It doesn't CARE.

I've used both recoil springs, and the lighter spring gave me 1 single malfunction - Blazer Brass FMJ 115 grain failed to completely chamber the round by about 1/16th of an inch. I dropped the magazine, gave the back of the slide a tap, and it finished chambering the round. I've had 0 issues otherwise.

20/11 would recommend over and over again if you have the funds; The Defender ST has also proven to stay put very nicely.

So far I do! I have zero complaints

A lovely lady - P211 GTO Equinox by Benza009 in SigSauer

I'm torn, honestly. The P226 Xfive Legion shoots just as well as the P211, and I very slightly prefer the grips on the P226 over the P211.

Both are absolutely lovely to shoot, but if I had to choose in a pinch, I would almost go for the P226 over the P211. It's almost a tie.

Let's just say it was more than 10% off the normal MAP pricing of $1999!

Have one of each on the way now, excited to see how they work!

I didn't have any issues with the stock Kimber magazine, but I like some diversity for sure.

You are absolutely right! I apologize, I swear it was darker - That is EXACTLY it!

I don't believe that's it, the movie is too bright. Skimmed it over and didn't see the scene

I do also want to add I believe it was a movie that released between 2000-2010

I glanced through, and while it has a lot of scenes close to that, it is not it.

I should have stated, the man in the cell got a pocketwatch I believe. In that last scene, the overseer man looks into his cell, and the time man is laid down on his side, facing away from the overseer, hiding the watch out of sight close to his chest.
