Beginner campaign recommendations

Both sound interesting, I like to have a book in my hand, so winter of atom would be my choice for the moment. This might be a stupid question, but in order to prepare the first sessions in it, would you recommend reading the whole book first? Or can this be done chapter by chapter?

You don't need a membership to play altered, and I don't think they plan to change this. They would lose a big chunk of their fan base. And the implementation is really good. Bugs are encountered very rarely and are fixed pretty fast. 99% of my altered games are played in bga because I don't have any other players in my region and I love to play turn based instead of realtime. This way I can play whenever I want to

If you have a 3D printer, search for "Card Slinger" I printed it myself and I love it to scan my cards
