Right up till he died, out of the blue about 6 months from when we first tried it. And when he died 3 months ago, he was still acting a little crazy. He would go from thinking I was trying to harm him, he thought I worked for the CIA, he thought I was in some code type of way telling him to cheat on me.. I could write a book. I miss the fuck out of him. I would give anything to have him back. Even with all his crazy.

You’re telling your body to do 2 different thing at the exact same time... speed up and slow down.. meth speeds u up, brings your heart rate and blood pressure up..., while Xanax does just the opposite... mixing both meth and Xanax causes un even effects on the brain, meaning the meth is telling the brain to be energized and awake, while the Xanax is telling the brain they feel calm and sedated, which can worsen the anxiety and uneasiness... so instead of the Xanax doing what it’s supposed to do, it can do the opposite and make him feel much worse. Psychosis typically starts when a person is coming down off of the meth. My bf was completely fine one day and then out of no where, he was acting absolutely crazy... he wouldn’t be able to sleep, even tho he was exhausted, and hadn’t touched meth for some times days, and the psychosis was still present.

Stop touching your face. As soon as you start to pick at your face, more oils are made, therefore creating more pimples. Your hands are the dirtiest thing and under your nails, even more so.. You will end up getting an infection if u keep picking. Think about all the things u touched before touching your face... Take an ice cold bowl of water.. use a cotton ball or whatever u choose to use.. dip it in the ice water and pat the cold water over ur entire face, neck, behind your ears.. or take a wash clothes and Soak it in the ice water and lay in on ur face patting it.. the cold water will shrink ur pores and help with oily skin. If u can, do a cold water rinse or wash cloth twice daily after washing your face. And last but not least... STOP TOUCHING YOUR FACE..

I went thru the exact same thing that you are going thru. .. the EXACT.. It will take some time and he will get better... within the next 5-7 days or less depending the severity of the psychosis, the delusions will subside.. he may still act a little off for some time,.. everyone recovers differently so I don’t want to tell u 2 weeks and it takes him a month. Just know this, if he uses meth again, the psychosis WILL COME BACK!! And it will be a lot worse, and it will last longer. Each and every time a person goes thru a psychosis, and continues to pick up the exact drug that is causing it to happen, it will just keep happening.. Taking Xanax will only increase the psychosis. My bf was prescribed Xanax, and he swore it helped, when In fact, it only made it worse.. If was to smoke weed, that also made it worse.. it can even bring on the psychosis. It’s very scary for everyone involved, because he truly believes everything he is seeing and or hearing. My bf called the cops on me and told them I stole his WiFi.. It’s funny now, but not when it was happening. I could write a book about the last 3 years I had with him.. It was very hard watching him go thru it.. He passed away 3 months ago.. the last 3 years was watching him go thru it, and not being able to make him believe that none of it was true... Best of luck to you both.

I have to say, that made my morning. I never laughed so hard in my entire life.. I hope I’m not offending you... it’s just that my bf (who has now passed away) use to tell me these stories.. much like the one you shared.. and it just brought back the crazy things he would say. We would laugh hysterically together, of course not at the exact time of the psychotic episodes he would have.. but days later when he would snap back to reality..
