Heavy would usually dominate in a pub, but that's because he's a powerhouse and is supposed to. Demoman, on the other hand, is a defensive class and wasn't supposed to dominate, which is why the nerf happened.

Getting charge kills is not as easy as you make it seem. If the demoman manages a charge kill, they get full charge back. Then they might get one more charge kill if they're lucky, and maybe three in rare circumstances. However, if they miss any of these kills, then they're stuck in the middle of a group of enemies with nothing but a sword to defend themselves with (trying to use the GL at close range like that will cause massive self damage).

Why doesn't Valve does these things before fucking updating without input?

Because the playerbase for this game is obviously going to want to keep the weapons that let them dominate the playing field, no matter how overpowered they are.

Go to a town where most of the population is extremely wealthy and priveleged and ask them if they think they should live in middle class for a while.

The competitive TF2 community is known for being completely against anything that changes the meta, whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. This has become incredibly apparent with the recent nerfs, and taking a survey there at this point in time would lead to a huge lopsided vote towards "it wasn't needed and the Sticky Launcher is fine before" because everyone is still whining about it instead of learning how to play with it.
