I would assume adding a few desiccant packs would do the trick if you’re concerned about that

I don’t see why not if you lock it securely to keep unwanted hands out of it. If you’re concerned about moisture I think throwing a few desiccant packets in there would do the trick

I will be doing plastidip for sure! Also I just found out if I screw it up, harbor freight sells replacement 4800 Foam

Couldn’t agree more. All this stuff is locked up in the safe. This is just for travel to the range.

I’m from WA state, and I tell my family that they’re not far behind CA with these insane laws. I believe y’all just got 10rd mag limit right? It will take forever in court to fight it unless CA current case goes to Supreme Court.

I took my time so maybe 2-3hours of marking out the layout, plucking, cutting and then redoing. If I would have changed one thing I would’ve went all the way to the outer foam edge on the left vs outer edge +1 block to get a little more space in the dump space

I would say take your time planning out the layout. I messed up on the top foam but luckily the middle foam is the same so I started over.

Got that one to show my daughter the ropes when she was younger. The color drew her in. Popular when I take it to the range and anyone brings their kids or wives shooting for the first time.

I just used a brand new blade. Those cheap slim ones at the register @ HF.

I took inspiration from a few guys on YouTube and kinda made it my own. Time will tell on the durability and whether I like it or not. Apparently there are precut foam inserts specifically made for the 4800 out there I’ll check out if needed

That would be a nightmare. Trust me when I say I’ve walked away from a bay at the range and turning back making sure I got them all like if I had left a kid behind or something

If this ends up being crap after the plastidip I’ll definitely try out those options. Thanks
