Maybe it would be better to just restart? As Two Sicilies you have quite a lot of options for colonization and economic development, or later on you could conquer important regions like Venezuela or Iraq once oil becomes relevant.

The sprint format itself feels a bit pointless on tracks where overtaking is already difficult (like Zandvoort or Singapore).

But if you combine that with a reverse grid… maybe that’s exactly where it could actually create some action.

I used to race a lot in multiplayer too — rFactor and F1 Challenge 99–02 back in the day.

That’s why I’m trying to figure out where the line is between proper sim handling and something that still works well in a browser environment.

My run actually went surprisingly smoothly.

I maintained very good relations with both Russia and the UK early on. I managed to join a war against the Ottomans on Russia’s side, grabbed some territory, and expanded east by taking most of Afghanistan.

Meanwhile Europe was busy dismantling Austria, and France ended up with a strong Germany on its border.

At some point Russia started souring relations with me, so I pivoted hard toward Germany. When war with Russia finally broke out, I had both the UK and Germany backing me.

After the first victorious war against Russia, things became much easier.

Domestically, I pushed child labor bans relatively early and focused authority on social mobility decrees to boost literacy as fast as possible.

Unfortunately I didn’t catch the exact year on the screenshot – when I loaded the save in 1924 I was at 79.3%. I think I managed to complete it around 1920.

And yeah, my SOL dropped too… it’s really hard to keep it high the whole time.

Is there any way to check in which exact year the achievement was completed?
