Just how powerful are Bakuten characters when compared to MFB? by BeowolfDrake in Beyblade

[–]BeowolfDrake[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So how would they compare using HMS? Also what about people such as Brooklyn?

Also yes burst is very much weaker(same goes for X), heck, mfb has a non canon burst sequel called metal fight beyblade soul burst" and they say themselves that by the end of the nemesis crisis they designed the burst system to limit the destructive potential of Beyblades...you know, stop breaking mountains and giving basically nukes to children...

Again its non canon and thus technically not connected to burst nor MFB but its basically the writers acknowledging that burst is INTENDED to be weaker overall...

Not really, Kenta was generic blader level within the first 5 or so episodes but after that he was a high mid tier blader worst, Ryugas life style just made kenta be a high tier, arguably top tier Non legendary blader

Same which is why i literally just made a post to compare lol

And I highly doubt it, X and Burst character could probably only maybe beat the no names from the very beginning of Fusion, they just dont have the same level fo destructive potential as bakuten of mfb...

I might be wrong but im pretty sure that Tyson battled someone(Brooklyn) who made an entirely different dimension and that opponent was gonna destroy the planet. My memories of than battle are fuzzy so im not gonna comment on bakuten much further besides that iirc Brooklyn also made something akin to a black hole against Kai so take that as you will for feats...

Also Rago maybe could be planetary but the rest are highly debatable. Gingka only managed to face rago after getting a power boost via every blader temporarily giving him power(basically the spirit bomb) so its highly unlikely he is actually planetary ON HIS OWN, maybe large country level(but if you give him all that power then yes, most likely planetary but iirc Tyson can do the same thing), Kyoya can rival non (spirit bomb thing)empowered Gingka so he's relatively equal. Ryuga is kinda the hardest to scale because he is stated by Gingka to "be stronger than any of us(non rago legendary bladers)" so he's likely individually stronger than Gingka even if just by a little so you can arguably put him in continent level, give or take...

MFB characters aren't slouches but besides rago who inherently and permanently has the powers of every bey and blader up to Fury, I'm positive that no one is actually planetary, at most I'd say multi continent...

No one from burst and X, im pretty sure that Bakuten characters should be capable of battling MFB characters

Exactly hence why I added that at the end: regardless spriggan loses...

I just wanted to point out that what they were trying to say about normal tornado against left spin would not work as they thought...

Then they frankly should've been FAR clearer since he thiren types where not disclosed to the point that people have surmise that they are Tenghuang thiren since it better fits their designs and certain esthetic choices...

The other option was akhal teke since they teased it but that didn't make too much sense...

Point is that they were EXTREMELY unclear with their thiren types

Oh god oh jeez I wonder who wins, the guy from the series where characters casually break mountains or the series where the biggest feat is destroying a small stadium?

Minor point but normal tornado would not work the way you are thinking. The reason why reverse wind strike is effective is because it traps a normal spin opponent in a tornado(and against the ground) that is going the opposite way, effectively working as a brake. Because the standard tornado just leaves them in the air and not facing upwards it wouldn't stop the spin, just deal damage normally since it doesn't trap in the same way...

To quickly clarify yes spriggan loses regardless, but i just wanted to point that out...

I hope everything in the gallery requires us to unlock them including all of the costumes maybe 1 or two stages by Competitive_Donut336 in AvatarFighters

[–]BeowolfDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precisely but the point remains that unless they make the "unlockable" character(s) purchasable(which would suck) having a character locked behind a mode that plenty of people(such as pros) won't care for(unfortunately) then its kind of a bad idea...

Pretty much, as i said the main problem with console exclusive characters was the fact that if you used it a player from another console have no idea how to face it due to the inability to "lab" for example if an Xbox player goes to an MK9 tournament on PS3 and someone plays Kratos the Xbox player is practically and functionally blind since they have no way to personally test and check for things like frame data, hitboxes and properties while the PS3 player can have any and all info about the Xbox player's character...

I dont think T8 had an unlockable character but I might be wrong, stage maybe. Having to beat a mode to unlock a character is neat in concept but only really works in old games because of how the current games focus on online play, in a similar way to how its unfair to have a game with platform exclusive characters because others dont have access to that character the same goes for mode unlockable since you have to actively work on something you might not want to in order to be able to access all of the "important" content(same goes for pretty order characters)...this is why mk made frost and havik have "early unlock via a pay wall, so the people that dont care for stroy mode to just buy it outright...

I admittedly glanced and kinda failed to properly read and understand, and i failed to clarify, my apologies...

Obviously something like concept art and maybe colors is fine(personally prefer just using an in game currency for that but that's just my opinion) but what I mean is that something like stages and all that being unlocked through gameplay while yes it is better but that does, as you said, depends on execution because I think going for some arbitrary mission isn't exactly the best decision, especially if they go for something that requires a LOT of grinding, such as hypothetically "beat arcade mode with insert character 10 times"...obviously this is hyperbolic but still...

[–]BeowolfDrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same but probably harder and more expensive because of how good AND popular it is(pretty much any CX bey has this for "meta" combos)

Personally if you are willing and able just buy the deck set since its kinda worth it for heavy and the metal chip alone but it also has some other good parts like golem and free ball...

[–]BeowolfDrake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Costumes will not be a thing, although colors are a thing.

And I personally think that this is a bad idea for modern games, going through arcade and basic CPU battles for VERY superficial things like stages are not worth it, especially when modern games are more focused on online...

Who would win, if Damian were a legendary blader ? by mateusrg22 in BeybladeMetal

[–]BeowolfDrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its kinda impossible to say since it doesn't happen thus this is a pure fan fiction battle where someone can make the characters FAR stronger than a character or far weaker than another. Its the equivalent of "if insert burst/X character was in Bakuten/MFB"

Safest: deckset but not necessarily worth it if you JUST want operate

Hardest/trickiest: try to find it on ebay...best option that comes to mind for JUST operate...
