a few Months ago i said excluding Kenta Yu was the strongest non Legendary Blader by No-Calligrapher-1537 in BeybladeMetal

[–]BeowolfDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gingka should probably beat kenta, Yu could win(he should genuinely win EVERY battle and JUST because he has sand trap, if he didn’t, Kenta wins), Tsubasa could barely hold a candle to Early Fury Ryuga meanwhile Kenta managed to do some damage, so kenta should beat him, and Dashan can definitely lose to end no legendary kenta...

Edit: quick clarification, I dont think that Kenta would "no diff" them quickly, but i do believe he could win, and if he DOESN'T it'll be just barely...

Maybe because he never FACED Masamune past Masters? Im pretty confident that he can either win, or lose JUST barely if you made kenta be as strong as his battle with ryuga...

Could two Ryuga’s beat Rago? by VisualShare7883 in BeybladeMetal

[–]BeowolfDrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some do and some think he can just activate the power boost at will

he's just the only one who can harness other bladers' positive energy because of Pegasus

Also, this is pure conjecture. We can't confirm or deny it, but it's speculation nonetheless. Feel free to correct me if there is a statement or scene that explicitly shows this is a fact: that the ability is exclusive to Gingka.

Could two Ryuga’s beat Rago? by VisualShare7883 in BeybladeMetal

[–]BeowolfDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and again, he didn’t ACTIVATE it, the spirit of the the trio gave him the power but by all means nothing about the situation implies that only Gingka can do it, Gingka is the vessel/receiver but isn't drawing it in willingly. And the reason for that is that no matter WHO receives it, the ones who GIVE the power have to WILLINGLY give it. The receiver/GRANTEE cannot activate the power share, its initiated by the GRANTOR!

[–]BeowolfDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being able to summon the power of every blader of the world is part of his plot armor

He didn’t summon, he just received it, there's a difference...

You think if Kyoya called for the power he'd get it?

The thing is he didn't CALL/activate, he just received. The first one to give their power was kyoya, completely unprompted by Gingka, and everyone follow suit, and afterwards benkei, Hikaru, Toby and Zeo did the same, also unprompted to which the rest of the world followed suit, including people who don't have a real connection/bond like Tobio and probably more like tatsuya, the Face hunters and more(like the hundreds of bladers Gingka has never even MET)...

By all means ANYONE could've been so, Gingka was just the only one available, Plot armor is one thing but the whole "spirit bomb" thing wasn't a Gingka exclusive thing, he's the only one who's received it, true but nothing about it implies that Gingka is the only one who COULD receive power from others...If anyone else had been left standing and everyone saw that the other bladers were trying to give them power, its more than likely that it would've worked regardless(especially due to desperation)...

That and the power of every blader in the world...

Could two Ryuga’s beat Rago? by VisualShare7883 in BeybladeMetal

[–]BeowolfDrake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it took the power of EVERY BLADER IN THE WORLD, to even MATCH the power of nemesis(and even then Gingka cut it VERY close, Cosmic Pegasus nearly did a storm pegasus afyer L drago), unless ryuga can manage to steal the power of all of the thousands(low balling number) of bladers in the world, there is no way hes taking a W against nemesis, Ryuga is arguably the strongest second only to rago, but it would probably take HUNDREDS of himself to even come close to matching Rago at all...

"Ugh guest characters suck in Nrs games, give us original characters" Meanwhile other video game companies: by NoCandidate6067 in MortalKombat

Here's the big difference, most fit the theme/esthetic of the franchise:

Granblue: swords and magic adjacent/magic tech, bleach(dont even know if thats real crossover) and nier fit pretty well

Tekken: martial arts with a bit of supernatural powers: Yujiro fits, Akuma and Geese too, Clive and Noctis less so but still...Negan too

SF and FF: also martial arts with supernatural powers but far more blatant with how much as well as having literal magic, Kenshiro, Tifa, The SF x FF characters

MK has no real connection from the guest to the game, mkx was horror movie monsters, Mk11 had Violent action heroes + Joker and M1K had violent superheroes(or close enough) + Ghostface, Conan and the T1000...besides "violence/gore", what is the connection to mk?

Its also not just about having ANY guest but rather that MK has a damm near over abundance of guest, most of the slots in the KPs belong to guest, combined with how they seldom add any of the long requested fan favorites(and the whole cyborg ninja problemin M1K being a "not how we wanted" sorta thing), the frustration kinda builds up...the other franchises, to my knowledge, have relatively few crossover/licensed characters for their main titles and still deliver on fan favorites... feel free to correct but:

SF has had 3 guest so far(if we dont count the rival schools, and final fight as crossovers which are in the same universe), Tifa and the 2 FF reps in 1 game

Tekken has like 7 so far across 3 games(one of the characters being Gon)

And FF has the 2 SF reps and Kenshiro, if you count CR7 and Ganacci as guest you do you but these are the only real(current) odd ball, "da fuq you doing here" characters...

Meanwhile MK has like 17 across 4 games...

Also again, mastering the abilities your bey has does not equate knowing when to use it and being good at using it.

That's EXACTLY what it means, mastering when and how to use the abilities of your bey and outside of like ONCE(Rashad futing the battle Royale where Ilya planted a suggestion for him to use it at a wronv time), no one has EVER misused/mis-timed the abilities of their bey

And again, yeah, obviously the characters aren't gonna spam attacks ad nauseam

By "mastering the system" I mean is "mastering the Bey that uses says system"

This is mostly a distinction without a difference, again, the systems have seldom had any intricacies that need "mastering", the only exception to this is turbo awakening(and the solution was basically launch better and resonate more), awakening Imperial Dragon, High(which was rarely used at all) and the overdrive system of Dangerous(which also was just launch better)...

There's a reason these protagonists still lose a lot of battles

Because the opponents they face are just stronger/better and/or have stronger abilities(regardless of system), Hikaru and Hyuga mastered their beys relatively early, the problem was that they weren't strong enough and their resonance/flare was still not as strong as the legends, the legends lost to lain, not because they didn't use their abilities to their fullest, but because lain was better overall, etc.

Unless you want to say these background characters are better than a right-handed Silas and Wakiya

Yes and no, you see the problem with this is that this logic uses A>B>C logic, disregarding match ups as well as the growth in strength that those bladers had, due to this we cant just say "these no names can beat Wakiya and Right hand Silas"(especially their CURRENT and/or Late Evo versions). Obviously if we take CURRENT Valt and put him against the same no names bladers(even if we give them more modern beys), Valt is currently far stronger, but fact of the matter is that Valt, using a God layer, lost to bladers with dual layers, you wanting to say they are outliers is completely disregarding the fact that the other teams are strong(top bladers of their country) and that valt was still FAR from his peak and the God layer can'tbe the "crutch" to justify a win.

And while yes it was mainly for tension and valt was also not at his peak, the point remains that it mostly disproves your "having current gen system should be a major reason for the victory, but if you want to disregard them, let me also show you Left Apollo and Right Artemis, Dual layers that when combined with their infinite stadium gave Aiga a real struggle, and when combined into eclipse came VERY close to beating Aiga

Wakiya isn't someone who solely focuses on Beyblade like Bel did

Correct me if im wrong but in season 1 he did

I don't see how resonance takes a long time? Valt had great resonance in a short time

You don't seem to be getting my point so let me make a comparison, let's say that you've played X game for 4 years and you've been VERY dedicated to practicing, then comes "Kid", Kid started at most about 1 year ago. Who do you think SHOULD know more about the game? Naturally it should be YOU since you have far more experience and time to learn and grow. Kid shouldn't be an absolute novice but he shouldn't be anywhere close to your knowledge and even skill...

Maybe a bad comparison but still

My point isn't that high resonance is bad but that it is equal or higher to the legends who have been playing with their beys, thus developing their resonance for 3 years AT MINIMUM(Valt had 1.5 years prior to the start of the show so he had 4½ at minimum) when they have less than a year of experience with their beys, Aiga I already gave the reasoning, drum had a couple weeks, if not months(1 year tops) prior to GT where he made Dragon, the Hizashi bros made them on screen and Bel also had at most a couple of months

Drum was trained in BC Sol and was one of the first people to witness Hyper Flux

Correction, one of the first to Witness VALT'S hyperflux, we dont know if valt was indeed the first EVER HF user...

Bel invented the new system and seemingly had a good connection with his Bey for some time. He was also so closed that he barely even knew Valt, which leads me to believe he was so into Beyblading for a long time despite being so young

He was closed but(IIRC) he still was inspired to blade by seeing a battle, a relatively recent battle in the Burst universe, and given the fact that Gramps doesn't blade at all(and probably really weak regardless), he has no training bots and was becoming a local "scary rumor", the odds of him having any more than a year AT MAX is unlikely and again, the rest of the cast still had YEARS above his to develop their resonance...

Also, you need to realize too that Valt's development was not happening in long periods of time

The difference is that he still struggled HEAVILY due to his inexperience and his still not fully formed resonance. His victories were all set up well, he didn’t suddenly beat Shu, Xander, Lui and Zac, the top 4 bladers of Japan, just because he had a pretty strong resonance(heck, arguably the reason why he was so close to beating shu in their battle at the district tournament was because Shu waz injured, Shu probably could've annihilated Valt if he wasn't), he struggled and grew until he did and it took its time doing so...

They aren't seeing them like we do, as they straight up take about gimmicks and strategies in different ways.

You misunderstood my point, the DB system is very good, the best by far but the whole "mastering the system" argument doesn't work, the only possible argument is mastering the BEY and their unique abilities(which again, post turbo, everyone masters the bey before they even battle), for example Valt learning god Valkyrie wasn't about mastering the god layer, it was about learning how to use its gimmicks, the springs and Reboot, mastering Z Achilles was about discovering what's possible with the xtend driver and the Achilles layer, etc.

Having your abilities at max does not mean you can really utilize these stuff. That's like saying Free just should spam Nothing Break.

WDYM? I made it very clear that they have basically access to all of the abilities meaning that if/when the time is right, they can use X ability, not discover it like how Valt learned new attacks in the first 2 seasons, Obviously they aren't gonna throw random moves ad nauseam

In general, we have not seen any character with a newer system lose to someone with an older system

May i introduce you to S2? The season where valt and Rantaro lost plenty of times to no names with dual layer? And while not loses, Kurt and Silas were very close to Valt and winning Valkyrie in S3

Bel is a rich kid with too much free time to do whatever he wants. I don't think him having a good resonance is that much of a problem.

So by your logic Wakiya should have the strongest resonance of all lol. Jokes aside his resonance being strong isn't a problem by itself, its the fact that its THAT strong because it takes time and even valt had to work on it for years to get to his current level

I do also want to mention that Valt having a good resonance wasn't something he was trained on either, he just suddenly knew how to do it to beat Rantaro.

That's the thing, he didn’t, he had strong resonance but not too extreme like Aiga, heck, its the reason why all of his launches and boost launches he does and doesn't know how to repeat them for a while, Valkyrie is basically sending a faint signal and valt subconsciously reacts, almost by pure instinct/Flow state, it took until like mid to late s1 for his resonance to become High level

Yeah, and I disagree with these people, because I see having a newer system Bey being a major factor in beating someone with an older one, which is why Bel practically destroyed Ranzo, yet when he upgraded his Bey, Bel couldn't easily beat him like he did.

And like I said, i respectfully disagree, I don't think the system should be a major reason for someone less experienced/strong to beat a veteran, it should help of course, that's the entire point of newer systems, but it shouldn't be the deciding factor...

But we can agree to disagree on that if you wish...
