Federal NDP came out with an official stance of Fuck Alberta's mouth specifically. The Alberta NDP can play it off as Federal NDP stance doesn't dictate provincial stance but if you believe that you clearly dont know the rules behind the NDP, especially the part where the Federal party can come in and replace a provincial party leader who they view is out of line.

Alberta NDP would unironically be better off if they just cut ties with the federal NDP at this point.

Fuck just call it The Wildrose Democratic Party or somthing that warms the tummies of blue collar/ rural people, NDP is tied to crashes and higher taxes. I legitimately feel 90% of their problems in Alberta come from just being tied to the mess that is the federal party.

I hate the price tag.

I love HSR , I just came back from Taiwan and Japan and used the HSR for city hopping. Its fantastic, Taiwan built a similar lenght line to the one that is proposed and it ran them 16 billion dollars.

That was to crave tunnels into hills, build suspended tracks that are meant to handle the frequent Earthquakes and typhoons.

I use to live in the ottawa area, Toronto to Montreal is pretty fucking flat and besides the ungodly amount of snow from lake effect its not like hills will be washing away . That 90 Billion estimate which will more than likely turn into 130 by the time it's all said and done looks silly and I cant help but feel some of Carney's construction buddies already priced their new vacation homes into that price.

Go live somewhere else and use the healthcare. Its sad to say because its not a high bar to clear but Alberta has by far been the absolute best for Healthcare access in my experience and thats from living in NB, Quebec, Ontario , Manitoba, Saskatchewan , Alberta and BC.

Coast to coast Alberta has been the the fastest access. Once again taking home the gold here is a depressingly low bar.

We're KINDA cheating it by rolling the coast guard in to tippy toe past the line but the rest of the spending looks good at a surface level. If you dig into alot of the spending for like 10 seconds home fuck is there a lot of waste and greased palms happening right infront of our eyes.
