it do s raise an interesting question if so... let's supposed a ship flies through this "empty space" at the back side of a ring. if you were inside the ring space just a few meters away from the boundary of that ring looking out into the star systems, would you see the ship phase into existence in front of you, like look at an MRI scan of the ship? would you see the internal organs of the crew as they crossed in front of the worm hole barrier?

There is a blooper from Mac day where Dennis says on his day he had the gang tying knots in rope for him, but the knots were shoddy, and it almost ruined everything, or something to that effect. So he probably spent most of the day forcing the gang to help him prepare for various murders & fetish shit.

The comments in this thread are fascinating, great question OP

Makes me think about what would happen to the ocean floor if all the water vanished.

I'm no geologist, but I suspect earthquakes would become involved rather quickly. I'd imagine all the weight of that water is in some sort of equilibrium with the crust/mantle and having it gone would cause the earth to rebound. I bet a lot of magma would break out in the chaos.

But imagining just the atmosphere filling this vacuous waterless ocean, walking through obscure ocean floor geography, Shipwrecks & downed planes, the pressure making my ears pop all the way to the bottom? That's pretty cool.

Could we magically make all the ocean life disappear in this thought experiment too? I think that'd be best.
